Today marks 3 years since the release of the mixtape “El hombre hace planes, Dios se ríe” by @danoziontifik.

For this project FIGARO produced 18 visualizers / lyric videos, crafting a collage of texts and images inspired by the artist’s lyrics. The project totals more than 1 hour of content.

We adapted the original cover design by the genius @gonhergueta and created a custom music player with audio-reactive backgrounds, drawing inspiration from iconic early-2000s visuals (those of us who used players like Windows Media Player or Winamp know exactly what we mean).

It was a very fast, hands-on production carried out closely with Tristán Alcover @toa3__ , adapting and creating the layout design for each track, while all the motion and VFX was developed together with Alberto de Miguel @hrrrvc

These visuals were used during the official tour, the perfect backdrop for the live shows and creating a cohesive visual identity for the album across every format.

The skate part takes a more immersive approach, with boombap grooves that hypnotically pull you into the images in that ugly and funny universe.

In the last one, the focus shifts to drums recorded by @imanolnietodrums and some guitars, building a progressively chaotic world that grows with the story.

One of the most fun and passionate projects I’ve had the pleasure to be part of! A huge thank you to the entire team involved for creating these marvelous films.
