I played two shows a few days back. My first full length shows in years and years. I never forgot just how intense performing can be, but it was interesting to really feel it so physically again. It was exhausting in a literal sense, but it was pretty revelatory and energising mentally/spiritually. Some privilege. I don't and won't take it for granted, and it's nice to know that I can share that again with you all soon. In less than two weeks actually. 🥶🥶🥶🥶

I have a new album coming out on August 8th. Carving The Stone is my first full length release since my debut in 2021, and while it took a long time to bring it to you, I am so proud to be able to do that now. You can pre order it now from the link in my bio.
There was a time when I thought I wouldn't write any more, never give you all the follow up, until one day it started coming and I couldn't stop writing. I'll save the really detailed notes and oddities about the album until closer to its release, but It is not lost on me how special it is that you are here and listening. thank you.
I’ve also today released the second single of the album, ‘No Scheme’. ‘No Scheme’ is the spiritual successor to ‘Top Scheme’, the only track on the new album with a direct link to the old.
Anchored by the same chaos as ‘Top Scheme’, ‘No Scheme’ trades some of its anger for despondency, its rage for reflection, while never fully leaving that original fire behind.
Like much of the album it comes from, whenever it points the finger outwardly, it points it back inwardly too. Hypocrisy, complacency, and culpability are all present, but so too is a search for justice or meaning in an increasingly confusing time. A great deal has changed since I wrote it, but I feel as committed as ever to sharing it with you all.
The video was shot on less than 24 hours notice, stemming from an idea that has been with me since I wrote the song. It was my first time running again after the leg break and was an intense way to reconnect with my body like that. You'll find the live video on YouTube and the regular tune on streaming.
Thank you,
Dave

I am doing my first tour in four years.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am.
Pre-sale is live from tomorrow, July 2nd at 10am. Pre-order the album from my store via the link in my bio to receive access.
In the years since that first run of shows, I have thought about them a lot. For everything I gave in them, I got back so much more from all of you. In September/October I invite you to join me again to hopefully share something intimate, powerful, and giving. You'll find me in Dublin, Listowel, Galway, Cork and Belfast, as well as London, Manchester, Bristol and Glasgow.
Madness. Ya write songs alone in a flat and a shed, and then suddenly you get to share them with rooms of strangers and friends. I'll never fully rationalise that, but jaysus I do see it as the blessing that it is.
Hopefully see yiz there.
Dave

So this is a proper special moment for me. I am absolutely delighted, proud, and excited to have the great Mohammad Syfkhan kicking things off at the Dublin show in @3olympiatheatre
@mohammad_syfkhan is one of my favourite musicians and one of the best live acts I've been lucky enough to see over the past few years. You may excuse me if I seem a little dry coming on stage on the night, cause I'll probably miss my warm ups in favour of watching him. 🥶😅
There's a handful of tickets left, so grab em and get down early.
Tour has been some trip so far.Every single show has been a real journey and has done something special for me in a unique way each time. Im reminded why I don't play often, cause it knocks the bollox out of me, but I am very happy to be able to share these moments with yous. Thank you all for sharing your stories with me, and I'm glad the space is doing something for you too.
Mike the Pies tonight. Cork tomorrow.
Belfast on Friday, and then Galway on Sunday in a very nearly sold out Róisín Dubh.
Voice is going. Feeling tired. Will always give you everything I have left.
Thank you
Dave
I just wanted to take a moment to give sincere thanks to those of you who have come out to the shows so far. Bristol was an incredibly intense and moving experience. I won't forget it. The London show was one of my favourites ever. The crowd. The venue. The feeling. I have so much gratitude for that. Thank you for selling it out and making me feel welcome.
I'm in Manchester tonight @thisisgorilla
I would love to see you there.
Then I'm off to Glasgow, and back to Ireland for another run of shows.
Dates below, and tickets in the bio.
Glasgow - SEP 29
Listowel - OCT 1
Cork - OCT 2
Belfast - OCT 3
Galway - OCT 5
Dublin - OCT 6

Sunday 05 October // Róisín Dubh
Tickets at roisindubh.net
Performing under the name For Those I Love, Dublin artist David Balfe creates raw, spoken-word-driven music that explores themes of grief, catharsis, and personal history. His self-titled debut album, released in March 2021, offers a powerful blend of evocative soundscapes and deeply personal storytelling.
I Have A Love live at Electric Picnic (2022).
I'm back there this weekend, for my first Irish show in over two years, I hope I'm lucky enough to see you there too. I really don't play live much, so I'm looking forward to doing this ahead of my tour at the end of September.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
Works seamlessly on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and modern browsers like Chrome and Safari.
Prioritizes secure, anonymous browsing without requiring login credentials.
Users can view public stories by simply entering a username—no account needed.
Downloads photos (JPEG) and videos (MP4) with ease.
The service is free to use.
Content from private accounts can only be accessed by followers.
Files are for personal or educational use only and must comply with copyright rules.
Enter a public username to view or download stories. The service generates direct links for saving content locally.
