Join us as we celebrate the grand opening of the Rapha Bentonville Clubhouse with Rapha CEO Fran Millar.

We’ll be heading out for a special no-drop gravel ride, bringing the community together for a memorable afternoon on the bike. Expect steady miles, good conversation, and the kind of ride that reminds you why we all love it.

So proud to have this guy back in my team 🫶 been a super star for us all week and our members have loved spending time with him.

And then it was over.

I can’t work out if being in my job for a full year has made it feel different, if I’m just fitter so it felt better, if it was the weather being nicer or just understanding the scale of the challenge - whatever it was - I absolutely loved doing the Festive 500 this year.

Knowing hundreds of thousands of people around the world were doing it too definitely made me feel part of something bigger and I felt huge pride seeing all the posts, stories and fellow riders out on the roads. It’s been magical.

There are so many special things about Rapha - this is right up there with the best of them 🫶

So it has started. Festive 500 for the second year … this time solo as I have been cruelly ditched by @hamspope.

I decided to try and solo Peddle Dash. Managed to complete it but I can comfortably say it was in the top 5 of my hardest days on the bike. A block head wind for nearly the whole 80km home (which felt grossly unfair when it had been primarily a cross tail as opposed to full tail down!)

Anyway, I did it. More of a Peddle Death March than a Pebble Dash but I’m really proud of myself… and as I said to @_james_stannard in our debrief texts this afternoon - it’s a reminder of the full throttle weird of this thing we love. I hated it. And I loved it. For the whole 7 hours. Ex Duris Gloria 🤘

Spent the afternoon yesterday with the team followed by dinner, then a typical APAC start at 5.10 to meet the local RCC members mad enough to join us for the Wednesday “Bench” ride.

Having never ridden here I’d always wanted to ride to the Peak. Didn’t know about all those 20% ramps ….! But the views were more than worth it.

19 years hey? Some career that 🤯

From lending him my trainers to do the white jersey podium at the 2010 Tour to this moment behind the podium at the 2018 Tour - I absolutely loved working with G.

The send off he has received this week and today in Cardiff was so hard earned and deeply deserved.

He’s been a gift for British Cycling and we were lucky to have him represent us for so long.

Thank you G 🙏🫶
