PSA - It has come to my attention that the Art Handler is now a desired profession amongst the dating apps of swiping right but know when to spot the real ones versus the imposters.
In this light I’m sharing my blood, sweat, and tears from works about female desire and the Art handler.
From 2016–2018, I created a body of work centered on the figure of the art handler, using image, installation, and performance to explore masculinity, pop culture, and the female gaze.
Through collaborative photographic collage, the work examines labor and gender as overlapping performances, questioning what is visible or hidden, valued or overlooked.
Fine art Perspiration is set against the backdrop of Frieze Week, it highlights the often unseen workforce that supports the art world while reflecting on the temporary nature of these constructed space built, activated, and dismantled in rhythm with the market. Special thanks to Anthony Banks and Woody Mellor as poster boys, promoting their Art Handling venture.

Photos from collection of Venezuelan-born Artist, Luchita Hurtado for LA Times Image Magazine.
I’ve long admired garments with a functional, intentional quality—something I first discovered while working at Margaret Howell London. Documenting Luchita’s handmade clothes felt like an intimate continuation of that appreciation, as her pieces carried the unique patterns and quiet elegance of everyday workwear. What a treat to explore her archive.
———————————
“Her artwork was, of course, a major part of that routine. But her need to express herself often manifested in her wardrobe, which she crafted entirely for herself.
The Venezuelan-born painter lived in a utilitarian uniform of sorts. She designed all kinds of pieces, from striped vests and floor-length dresses to lightweight pants and winter coats. But almost every silhouette was inspired after a specific design she used for almost all her shirts: a boxy shape with four front pockets and partial buttons, similar to a smock. Seemingly inspired by Japanese workwear, Hurtado wore these oversize, functional looks for around 80 years.
Inside a Gardena warehouse, where the @hauserwirthlosangeles hurtadomullicanarchive estate is housed, racks full of her clothes hang from the high ceilings. It’s the first time her personal wardrobe is being shared with the public in this capacity.”

Her works are on view at Hauser & Wirth in Los Angeles until October 5th, 2025.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
