Another sneaky pencil and pen drawing for #drowgust2025 and I didn’t even do the correct day, hahaha rebel! Creeping…
The fear grew around them like vines, so gradually that they didn’t even notice it at first. But as the creeping dread slowly overwhelmed them, they found it harder and harder to move. The fear of the future and that whatever they did would be wrong kept them trapped in place, and they didn’t know how to stop it or even where it had come from.
A bit of eldritch horror as therapy there I guess.

More #drowgust2025 this is day 2: Elemental
Air genasi Sylva was born underground to drow parents who got the help of a wandering mage to help them conceive a child. Turns out that the mysterious mage was a djinni in disguise, and she had a weird sense of humour. Sylva spent her childhood in the confined darkness of the Underdark, but as an adult she has journeyed above ground and finally found her happy place under the endless sky…
Trying not to be too critical of my own work or put pressure on myself. “Don’t let perfect be the enemy of finished”, so yeah, here is a finished picture, well done me 👏👍😴

Phew, this august has been so busy! I’ve not had any time for #drowgust2025 but I decided to do something even if it was scrappy! So here’s day 5’s Jester, drawn yesterday and inked/shades today in spare moments.
Jax the dusk-elf bard had so much potential when he was at bard college. But he’s been stuck working for the Bandit King of the Hellspire Mountains for a while now, and it just seems like a could be doing more with his life. Plus he isn’t actually being paid; it’s more of a being-held-prisoner-and-forced-to-dance-for-scraps situation. Of course, the rest of his adventuring party got TPK-ed so it could be worse. Still, Jax is hoping that he can pass his CV to the next adventuring party that swings by so that he can possibly get a change of scene and feel a bit more creatively fulfilled.

Welp, it’s that time again! I meant to put some other stuff up here in between last August and now, but ahh well! It’s #drowgust2025 and here’s the list for anyone who wants to join me drawing spookycute elves and other nonsense!
My August is going to be packed this year so I’m just aiming to get at least ten drawings done this time. If I don’t, I’m not too bothered. As usual, it’s all a bit of fun.

Day 30 of #drowgustis vengeance
“The Lady Zoltressa has a message for you.”
The assassin has chosen the perfect place to strike. The wine cellars are deep beneath the castle, well out of earshot of the guards. Lord Cursanato hadn’t suspected the shy little scullion maid until it was too late, and now he can only gasp a hurried plea to her as she advances again, kicking aside his shaking blade. The poison is already doing its work; he won’t last long down here. Just long enough to hear what she has to say.
“She wants you to know that the girl was her niece. Do you remember her? Her name was Nelore.”
The lord’s eyes widen as he realises that there is no bargaining he can do, no deals or threats to make, to stop the shadows that are closing in. The assassin smiles.
I love the Edgar Allen Poe film adaptations directed by Roger Corman, so this was inspired by them. I can’t believe I’ve actually managed 30 prompts! Really proud of myself. Gonna do something quick and silly for the free draw prompt probably.

Day 20 of #drowgust is familiar
Ilma Rapita wanted a cute familiar; a fluffy bunny or awinged cat or a fairy dragon. The sort of thing magical girls meet in stories the she reads. What she got was Lazuli the imp, a horrible, spiky little git with dirty fingers and kleptomania, who smells of sulphur and cigarettes.
Ah well. This is what she gets for making a pact with an archfiend. At least Laz knows some good jokes.

Day 24 of #drowgust is scar
During the calamity of the Drowning befell Mornalari, a vast abyss opened up beneath the city. It becomes known as the Drider Pits due to the monstrous creatures that roam in the darkness and occasionally scuttle up into the lower districts of the city and snatching lone travellers. Others simply call it the Abyss.
Julnik is one of the rare few who are foolish and desperate enough to venture down into the Abyss in search of treasure and goods abandoned by the victims of the driders. Julnik knows a secret path that the driders cannot fit through. She calls it the scar. It is dangerous, but she is able to scrape a living from this deadly place.

Day 27 of #drowgust is nemesis!
Count Vyron paced his private quarters in a rage. “How dare he! That blaggard, that absolute bounder! I’ll have him strung up, mark my words!” In his hand he clutched a letter from Lord Caspian-Quillby. “The absolute gall of the man! To tell me that my poetry is ‘middling’?! MIDDLING?! And who is he to judge what best rhymes with orange? That philistine wouldn’t know good poetry if it beat him over the head!” He would show him! He would write a very scathing stanza indeed. Then they would know the greatest artistic genius of this millennium!
Truly this was how aristocratic elven vampires fought their battles. ‘The pen is mightier than the bite’, as they said.

Day 14 of #drowgust is forge
Ynovar Earthelm, half-elf blacksmith, cleric of Gond, and retired adventurer. Being a humble smith gives him much more joy than his previous life. He may not be galavanting around the world fighting monsters anymore, but he can still protect his little village from any armies foolish enough to raid too close. He has The Six Secret Names of Gond tattooed on his arms, each one giving him a different holy power.

Köbelek the fairy hunter and his faithful moth companion Tozanshi, on the hunt for berries and flowers. They roam the mountainous regions of the Feywild with their tribe, sometimes trading with the local eladrin.
Inspired by Burkitshi, Khazakh eagle hunters.

Day 15 of #drowgust is oath.
Dagrun Gloamingly, duskelf bell mage, becomes the Witch of Koriko by swearing an oath to the spirit of Old Koriko itself.
I played Koriko, a solo rpg from @mouseholepress inspired by Kiki’s Delivery Service about making your name in a new city. I loved it! I ended up writing over 150 pages of journals for Dagrun as she travelled to Koriko and established herself as the city witch, finding lost things, fixing broken artefacts and healing anyone who needed help. She also helped bring down two corrupt politicians and made herself a new bell staff. All in one year.
Honestly I think Koriko is my new favourite solo rpg (the previous one being Artefact, also by Mousehole Press!) I recommend it to anyone who likes Studio Ghibli, journaling games or creative writing.
The colour doesn’t really show up in photos; it’s a pearly silver.

Day… *checks notes* 28? Of #drowgust is Memory.
“It’s you… you’ve come back…”
Just as the Silverwolves were returning to Ashenoak from the Feywild, a figure stepped out from the trees. A figure Raljin recognised; his twin sister, Rel’An. But she was different, older. For a moment, he thought he had lost years in the fey realm, but this Rel’An was from another place and another time. In her world, Raljin had never come home, and in the following years Ashenoak had been decimated by war and monsters. These memories of the future had not yet come to pass in Raljin’s world, and with his return, maybe they never would.
Raljin asked this Rel’An to return with him and the rest of his party, but she refused. After all, Raljin’s own real sister was alive and waiting for him in his world. And maybe one day this future world’s Raljin would return too, and she had to be there for him.
“Don’t forget me,” she said, as they stepped through the portal to their own Ashenoak. As if he could. As if this memory wouldn’t haunt him for years to come…
This is commemorating the first (and definitely not the last) moment in our D&D campaign, Call it Crits, that made me cry. Ironically I don’t remember the exact words, but I do remember feeling so lucky to be in such a great group of role-players. The colours are inspired by some cool leaves I found. 🍂

With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
