I swear I am moving as fast as I can! I am still a few weeks away from shipping. This production cycle seems impossibly long, I know! Thanks for being patience! Having COVID has got me SO behind!! The aftermath has been worse than actually being sick!! I was not this tired while actively infected!!

A little trip down custom memory lane! Was reminded how much FUN chaps are to make this week when @wilefireleather posted a pair of their GORGEOUS chaps. I loooove seeing all of our different styles shine through on classic silhouettes. I love being in a small community of other freak leatherworkers!!! Sometimes you feel burned out and then you see some gorgeous craftsmanship and feel excited all over again!

I am back at my workbench! 🫡 Getting started on my next batch of orders right now!!!!! Thank you everyone who snagged some gear this time around!

Some VERY annoying news is that the USPS is going to start implementing an 8% "war tax" for the first time in this empire's existence. Shipping is going up and there is nothing I can do about it. We are already fighting tariffs on supplies we need to keep our businesses running! I don't know what will happen but I do know that sales have been plummeting for the last few years! This will undoubtedly affect business, and when that happens I have to take more gigs outside the leather shop to keep it going AND THAT SLOWS PRODUCTION DOWN! All that to say- I appreciate your patience AND that you choose to spend your money here! I know I say that a lot- but I mean it! Production is still up to around 6 - 8 weeks right now! Customs will take longer than MTO!

On another note, I haven't raised my prices in a long time. With all of these extra overhead costs- electric bill, supply costs, tarriffs etc... a small increased in my overall pricing is also unfortunately coming soon!

Thanks for rocking with me through the years! I'm stubborn as hell so I'm not going to let anything keep me from doing this work! 🤪

Part of the post Holiday restock is die cutting all my bases again! I absolutely cleared out of anything and everything in the final months of last year! I use custom steel ruled dies to cut all of my unique shapes (and save my hands some grief.)

This is always the first part of any production run for me! Have to get the shapes ready before anything else!

I LOVE VALENTINE'S DAY SO MUCH! 🥲

I made these Doily Paddles for Valentine's day in 2023 and 2024 and then the holiday season started kicking my ass and I miss making them!!!! I feel too depleted by January to get a Valentine's collection done in time anymore! 😭

There is NO WAY I would have these ready for Valentine's day... but ...should I bring them back this year?? What color combos do you want to see?? Is it okay if they go live... really late??

Should I do a quick story sale pre-Valentines day of everything left over from the holidays???
