In 2012, Cassandra was diagnosed with Stage 3B Colorectal Cancer. That was 13 years ago. Today she shares her story, and she will be joining 25 other fellow warriors strutting the runway.
Cassandra chose to be part of FFC because she knows what it feels like to be newly diagnosed and terrified. To feel like no one around you truly understands. She’s been that person.
Now she wants to be the one who reaches back, for everyone sitting in a hospital waiting room right now who needs to hear that there is life beyond the diagnosis. She believes in showing up and speaking honestly, because she knows that one story told with courage can change how someone else faces their hardest day.

A short getaway trip for my 53rd 🎂. A trip I keep my fingers crossed 🤞 due to my mum's health condition.
Unexpectedly, I rushed back on my birthday after I received a call from the doctor classified my mum as DIL and in her final stage of life.A journey back home with a heavy heart telling my mum... I'm coming back soon.Sadly, she passed away a week later.
A year... a month... a day... toremember.

Havingmixed feelings when I get onboard. Whenever I walked past some spots, activities played etc....memories flashed back.So amazingly, I met the same uncle at the same spot. 😆 He is the one who sits besides my mum giggles whenever I coaxed mum like a child.
