Story doesn't have to be long.
It doesn't have to be complex.
It has to be clear.
Best Food Trucks came to us with a simple problem: how do we communicate effectively with thousands of food truck owners across the country?
No one's reading their blogs. Emails go unread.
Documentary storytelling isn't just for features and prestige pieces. It's a precision tool. When you understand story structure, you know how to land a message in the time you actually have.
The truck owners got it. Immediately.

Some projects are built on someone else's project.
A gutted house, a friendship, and a bet that two people who've never done this before could figure it out together.
Just enough experience to dive in. Not enough to do it right. No roadmap. Just grit, comedy, and a lot of things that need fixing.
More soon.

Production can be like summer camp. With Redman.
Day one on set. Redman told me the last thing he wanted to be was a host.
8 days later he was pitching us on how much more hosting he could add.
That's the job — getting people to a place where they want to give you something real.
Same thing every time I walk into an interview.
Story first. Camera second.

Excited to be in pre-production on this project. Hope to share some content soon.
Biggest mistake in founder videos? Sounding like everyone else.
All jargon, no connection. All expertise, no humanity.
Here's the formula I use to fix that—borrowed from 10 years in reality TV.
(It's simpler than you think.)
Time to put video where my mouth is. 🎬
Everyone's talking about connection and storytelling right now—and here's why it matters: it's not just what we want in this disconnected world. It's what we've always valued.
After decades creating content, I know this: content that connects wins.
We're craving authentic human connection more than ever. Founder-led videos close that gap. When you show up as yourself, you're not building a brand, you're starting a real conversation.
So I'm taking my own advice. Sharing my story, not just helping others tell theirs.
Connection isn't a marketing tactic. It's the whole point.

Looking back at one of our favorites from 2025
Case Study: Best Food Trucks → Home Depot (National Deal)
Best Food Trucks didn't need more content.
They needed the right story.
The Goal: Land a national collaboration with Home Depot.
The Challenge: No new shoot. No budget for production. 10-day deadline.
Our Approach: Rebuilt their story from existing website and social footage.
Wrote VO to dial in why BFT matters.
Wrote and led remote interviews with actual truck owners to capture their powerful journey with BFT.
Created final cut show directly to HD.
Timeline: 10 days. Strategy to final cut.
Result: Home Depot collaboration went national.
This is what happens when video is built on:
Audience psychology
Real truth from interviews
Emotional clarity
Story structure
Not louder content. Clearer content.

Can't ask someone to be vulnerable on camera if I'm not willing to do it myself.
I coach founders to show up, be real, let the walls down.
And... sometimes I have to practice what I preach.
ALWAYS weird. Worth it.

Wreath bar? I'll take mine up with 2 olives.
With alcohol sales declining and ax throwing lanes and pickleball courts popping up everywhere, here's what I'm loving: we're gravitating toward experiences that actually bring us together.
Bars used to be the third place. Now? Connections are happening in places where you're doing something with people, not just drinking next to them.
I love this shift. Mostly because I think about my son and his friends growing up in a world where the one thing that could stop the scroll (and the video games) is connection. Love that we're making touching grass cool (cringe all you want).
Could it be that connection is becoming one of our most valuable currencies again?
Not just for kids. For all of us. (and no I didn't build a wreath).

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
