G-FORCE 010: Djoser (Abu Dhabi)

Ok, here we go. The final race of the 2024 season accompanied by the final edition in the debut season of G-FORCE. We really did that.

2024 really has been a season of unpredictability.

Heading to Washington, DC, we have the brilliant DJ and producer Djoser gracing the G-FORCE series - a powerful edition to the series filled with periods of intensity flowing into more quiet, introspective moments. Spanning across dub, techno and experimental club music, it’s a challenging mix that only allows you to take a breath right at the very end.

G-FORCE 009: Cameo Blush (Qatar)

In our penultimate race, we head to Lusail International Circuit for the Qatar Grand Prix. With the Driver’s championship wrapped up, we take a moment to reflect on this season’s title battle. Although Red Bull consistently did not have the best car on the grid and faced internal power struggles that created tension within the team, Max Verstappen continued to showcase his brilliance, securing his fourth World Drivers’ Championship (WDC). While the Constructors’ Championship is still up for grabs, all eyes are on whether McLaren can hold off Ferrari in the final two races.

Stepping up for us this race weekend is London-based artist Cameo Blush. This hour-long mix starts off with a beautifully cinematic feel, before transitioning into a fast-paced, gritty, and percussive groove—perfectly mirroring the medium- and high-speed corners of Lusail. Bringing his own distinctive UK sound to the mix, we are proud to present G-FORCE 009: Cameo Blush (Qatar).

G-FORCE 008: Elle Clark (Mexico)

Next up in this triple header we travel to Mexico for the Mexico City Grand Prix. With another win in the bag for Ferrari, Charles cleaned up with a nice stack of points in Austin. Heading to Mexico City, we know this is Red Bull territory. They hold the record for the most wins but can they extend this total to 6 wins? The circuit is notorious for its high elevation (>2km above sea level) and the plethora of challenges it brings to the cars. We are very excited to see how it all plays out.

This week we are in for an absolute treat of a mix by Curving Track boss and Rinse FM host Elle Clark. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better mix to soundtrack this week’s grand prix. Expect bright synths, bouncy basslines and colourful percussive delights that will have you grooving beginning to end.

G-FORCE 007: Voiski (USA)

Omg, thank god the break is over. Things were getting a little dry over here. Sadly, this recent break in the F1 season has been tainted with the news of Daniel Ricciardo being dropped by Visa Cash App RB in a horrible break up. They did Danny dirty. Why was this not announced before Singapore so Danny could have got the send off he so deserved? Now there’s only two seats left to be signed for 2025 with Liam Lawson not quite signed on for next year and the second seat at Sauber with rumours of Mick Schumacher returning to the grid.

Now onto the seventh edition of G-FORCE. We’re thrilled to have the esteemed French producer Voiski on the series who delivers a delicious serving of exhilarating techno and trance. In the accompanying interview, Voiski mentions that he “tried to put myself in that tunnel Senna mentioned after his qualifying lap in Monaco ‘88”. This mix is pure psychedelia sped up to the nines. Strap in!

G-FORCE 006: Elissa Suckdog (Singapore)

Did you miss us? Oh, how we have missed you! And yet, we’ve been sure not to miss the action-packed season we’ve all been treated to this year! So much has happened since our last race mix back in Canada, and we are in need of a major catch-up.

Up next on G-FORCE, we have Berlin-based artist Elissa Suckdog who, in her own words,‘tried to subvert what felt like the obvious interpretation of “high speed” in music’ in this sleazy mix. In this session, Elissa implemented a 125PM speed limit, dedicating it to those teams who struggle all season to get only a little bit faster.

G-FORCE 005: Lewis Lowe (UK)

It’s Silverstone weekend baby! A race that we absolutely couldn’t miss in our calendar. 🏁

Taking the wheel for the British Grand Prix we have Glasgow-based DJ, producer and Redstone Press label founder Lewis Lowe. Looking to the past, Lewis sets his sights on the 1999/2000 season, his favourite era of F1 when Ferrari went from not winning a championship to dominating the sport via Schumacher. The mix is filled with the raw energy that season had to offer.

G-FORCE 004: Gramrcy (Canada)

We’re looking forward to seeing what this silly season will continue to bring as we head into the Canadian Grand Prix with rain forecasted for the entire weekend. For this occasion, we have Berlin-based DJ Gramrcy taking the wheel and in his own words ‘going off the deep end’ with a three-stint, Medium > Hard > Soft approach to the mix - sticking to the FIA guidelines. The pitstop soundbites are taken from one of the most memorable F1 races to date - the 2011 Canadian Grand Prix. The longest race in F1 history (clocking over 4 hours), the heavy rain downpour meant there was severe delays to the race as well as more safety car periods than ever before as the race ended dramatically with the result decided by a last-lap pass.

G-FORCE 003: Surusinghe (Monaco)

Hello! Welcome back to G-FORCE as we head into the third edition for the iconic Monaco Grand Prix. With the season starting very dramatically off track, it’s nice to finally see things heating up on track.

We’re so excited to have Australian-born, London-based DJ and producer Surusinghe on the series — a well-known Lando girlie but this could all change in the blink of an eye as mentioned in the accompanying interview, performance matters! Channeling the rollercoaster energy of race day, things kick off in breathtaking style before settling into the track with anticipation of a safety car moment.

G-FORCE 002: 96 Back

Who’s your favourite driver?

Kimi Raikkonen, he just always got everything he could out of his car.

What’s your favourite race? And if you had to pick a song to sum up that race what would it be?

2007 at Silverstone, Kimi really stealing the spotlight from Hamilton was exciting to see, plus Silverstone is somewhere I’ve been lots in my life.

Can’t quite explain why but this race kinda has the feeling of Bochum Welt - Micron to me.
