Our community collectively came out to give back to Prospect Park, a green space that feels so sacred to us in the middle of the city. From laughing at the wild things we found, to huddling under the only dry spots with coffee, it felt like being little girls again. Rain boots, ponchos, and all, jumping in puddles. A reminder of why we love the Earth so much and try our best to leave it better 🌱

We’re so excited to invite you to our very first forest-to-table experience, created in collaboration with @herbivore______and @fergustheforager 🌿 This is our first foraging event and a special one for us, designed as an unforgettable culinary adventure blending nature, creativity, and connection.
Set in Hackney Marshes, this immersive workshop will guide you through identifying seasonal wild plants and herbs, learning how to work with them, and understanding what’s growing right on your doorstep.
As we forage, you’ll gather ingredients for delicious Nepalese momos, each person creating their own unique combination. Back together, you’ll shape and customise your dish with a range of wild herbs and, if we’re lucky, even some fungi.
These wild food experiences are all about collaboration, curiosity, and making something memorable from scratch. You’ll also have time to ask questions, learn more about foraging, and explore Herbivore’s approach to plant-based cooking.
Come for the nature, stay for the dumplings.
