2016… Looking back ten years is in some ways a gigantic bummer for me. But! To focus on some of the better times, then, I was on a super-productive quilting kick (but not knitting). I finished this quilt top and made most of the hand-pieced quilt I still use. The Log and I spent a lot of time in the community garden, including one memorable time when he was sitting in this flower bed and noticed another cat in an overlooking window... This was right before I got into biking longer distances (and a few years before I overhauled Norberta’s handlebar setup)… and John and I went to see G’n’R in Jersey on the hottest night of the year. 😽💚🎸
I’m grateful that the Log is still getting in the way as I craft. I hope this year I can do more quilting, and knitting, and biking, and rocking out… and of course protesting.
