It's been years since I've made a proper post on here, and I can't believe how much has changed in the time since.I remember getting a phone call late fall 2022 from John Michael about a pair of artists who wanted to make an animated feature. It sounded so crazy (and it was). I had no idea who Meriem or Orian were, or what their work was like, and I certainly had no clue that we would be spending the better part of the next three years working together, but that's what happened. I checked out 2 Lizards, I hopped on a Zoom, I moved back to New York, and we started to make a movie.I've never been more simultaneously scared and excited in my life.

There was a reality where we just made an awesome movie and that was that, but this reality is even better, because we also became best friends, we became family, we challenged and changed each other in innumerable ways. I feel so truly blessed to be taken on this journey, to meet so many people and go so many places—geographically, creatively, emotionally—and I can't begin to describe how much I've grown as an artist and a human being. These few photos don't even begin to portray the awesomeness of this group and this experience (let alone all of the other incredible, beautiful, talented people who contributed to the film that aren't pictured or tagged here). This summer has actually been the first time since starting the project that the four of us have been apart for more than a few days, and I can't think of a better way to reunite tonight than in Toronto for our premiere at TIFF!I'm so stoked for the weeks ahead and to see friends and family later this month for our U.S. debut at NYFF.I'm beyond excited to see what the world thinks of BOUCHRA and what works of art we all create next. Hopefully this is only the first of many collaborations together.I'm ready to make another.

I still struggle to find the words to convey all of the feelings. I wish I had had more time today to sit and reflect on my friend Danny, and I really wish I could wish him a happy birthday. I feel his presence all the time. I spent the majority of today on the road, listening to some of his favorite musicians -- The Rolling Stones, The Mamas & the Papas, Tom Petty, Pavement, Mountain Goats... Some songs make me want to cry, but when I picture him dancing it's real hard not to smile. What a stylish, cool motherfucker. Love forever, you beautiful prince.

For anyone who never read his obituary last year and would like to, you can do so here: https://www.mykeeper.com/profile/DhavalDannyMehta/

Cori, I think about you and miss you all the time, and I am far from being alone in this. I wish so badly I could call you today, and I would give anything to recreate this photo with you. Cherishing the memories of our time together and celebrating your birth on this day. Love forever ❤️

Streakin' 2 the weekend. Happy Friday, y'all! Just another quick little #animation loop I made with the ole #wacom tablet and #blender #greasepencil. #cartoon #walkcycle #frolic #naked #pink #2danimation

Here's another #animation I made using #blender and a #wacom tablet, this time a hop cycle of a little #frog. Also using this to demo some of the super cool #greasepencil effects in 2.9. If you've ever been curious to try Blender, now is the time! (and if you briefly saw this yesterday it's because I uploaded the wrong version 😬)

Here's an #Easter treat: my first #walkcycle done on my new #wacom tablet with the new #blender #greasepencil (fittingly of a #bunny man). This was pretty quick and dirty just to get a feel for things, and I gotta say it feels great. I'm super excited to start taking 2d animation seriously. [Insert irreverent reanimation joke here]

#inktober pompt day 2: #wisp. In addition to meaning "a small thin or twisted bunch, piece, or amount of something," wisp is also the common/colloquial name for damselflies of the genus Agriocnemis. So here's some #erotic #insect #action to get you in the mood for #Friday night. #inktober2020 #inktober2020wisp #damselfly #micron #pen #ink #drawing

Thought about going all year without posting, but then I decided to do the #inktober thing, but then I missed yesterday (always a day late and a dollar short), but then I found out inktober is all problematic now so maybe I shouldn't do it, but anyway here's a drawing I did for the first #inktober2020 prompt: #fish. It's a drawing of a fish based on one of my oldest and dearest friends, Fish. #pen #ink #drawing #micron #caricature #howdoesthisworkagain?

Two days ago I watched a documentary about the lives and friendship of Timothy Leary and Ram Dass. Just yesterday I woke up to discover Ram Dass had died. It was quite a surreal feeling, and I felt compelled to pay tribute through art. "Be Here Now," on top of being a gorgeous book (it reads like the "Medium is the Massage" of spirituality), has had a huge impact on my life. Whatever your beliefs are, I wish everyone a peaceful and loving holiday season! #ramdass #beherenow #tribute #drawing #mandala #portrait #prismacolor #happyholidays

Sometimes I feel like I've wasted years of my life by not regularly practicing #lifedrawing, and my boy Richard Williams is right when he says: "It's always shocking to find you're not as advanced or skilled as you thought you were." I've been trying to correct this recently by returning to all of the basics and studying them relentlessly. Thankfully when there's not another body around, there's always the good ole hand. Here's an #animation I made out of some #handstudy #drawings I did using #prismacolor #pencils. Only a few thousand more of these and maybe I'll get somewhere. #alwayspractice #drawing #psychedelic

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
