It's cold outside but it's warm in the gallery!

Radial Survey Vol.4 at @silvereyecenter closes on Saturday. Come in today, or tonight for Unblurred First Friday 6-9, or tomorrow 11-5 for a last look at the incredible work of @_yoshann @1anjohn @orrantia_juan_ @_cmlorenz_ @burnstorm and @mcnairevans that explores ways that photography and photographic ideas can be used in world building and storytelling.

This past year has brought changes, challenges, and uncertainty, yet the ways people come together through art and in community remain powerful. When we see each other, and ourselves in one another, openness becomes strength, and art becomes a vehicle for imagination, expression, and shared vision.

Saturday, Dec 20 is your last chance to see Radial Survey Vol.4 before the new year! The gallery will be closed Dec 24, 2025–Jan 1, 2026. Additionally, there will be no late Thursday hours until February.

THE LAB
Tuesday, December 16, 2025 will be the last Lab evening hours until the new year! Lab evening hours resume January 6, 2026.

SALON
There will be no Salon in December. We’ll resume regular monthly salon in January!

I'm so grateful for the support from artists, donors, patrons, and supporters who have all made this fundraiser possible. The auction preview party was a fun, wonderful celebration of community and the preview exhibition shows the range of photographic possibility that Silver Eye supports.

When I walk through this exhibition I'm moved to see the many different ways that all of these artists, many connected to Pittsburgh, speak their voices through the pieces in the show, and I'm further moved when I feel the support and focus they bring to Silver Eye. Many of these artists have exhibited here in the last three years and if you've been coming to see the shows regularly, maybe at Unblurred, this will feel like a mix compilation of what we've been doing.
