Under international humanitarian law, hospitals, healthcare workers, and ambulances must be allowed to perform their crucial roles.

Over 120 armed conflicts are happening in the world, and millions of civilians are suffering the humanitarian consequences of them.

Respecting the rules of war is not an option: it is an obligation of all parties to armed conflicts.

Yet Salamatu Dauda, a medical laboratory technician in Madagali, continues her work, knowing the risks, so people can get the care they urgently need.

In regions affected by the armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine, many people are struggling to cope with the uncertainty, hardship, and loss caused by the conflict.

We continue to support communities with food assistance, including people like Tatyana in Luhansk. Her son went missing three years ago, and she was informed that he had been killed. Still, she holds on to hope that he may be alive.
