IRONMAN Tallinn 🇪🇪 10:17:02
My IRONMAN Debut in Estonia - look how far we’ve come!
A huge thank you to @coachtommy.nrg & @meg_hodgson_for getting me to the start line in fighting shape.
It needed to be perfect for the sub 10 and it wasn’t, but still immensely proud of the effort and grit I showed out there.
Brief breakdown of the data from the day, with a more in depth video to come soon!
3.8km Swim: 1:54/100m (1:12:28)
a really solid swim, 2 x 1900m laps with an Aussie exit.
calm, controlled and executed well.
T1: 3:59 - a fairly swift transition, but had to return to my bike rack as the foam cup had fallen out my aero bar on the journey. Brilliant.
180km Bike: 34.03km/hr (5:16:09)
not the bike leg pace I’d hoped for, but the power was 198W and that was what I’d planned to hold - lap 1 felt good but laps 2 and 3 the weather took a turn - wind and rain coming in. More time in TT needed, legs faded.
T2: 3:30 - thank god I’d packed a pair of dry socks. Was so glad to have made it onto the run, but still had a hell of a job to do.
42.2km Run: 5:09min/km (3:40:59)
to make the sub 10, I had to run a sub 3:23 off the bike - a big ask after 5hr+ in the saddle. But I had to roll the dice.
With a few toilet stops, I pushed the pace for 32km until my legs had quite literally nothing left. I surrendered the sub 10 aim; and enjoyed the sun setting over Tallinn.
Would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little bit gutted, but I’m a big believer in the fact that you get the race you deserve. I didn’t deserve to go sub 10, but I put in a solid race and left Estonia feeling more motivated and determined than ever.
This block took an awful lot from me: social life, free time, dating etc… but it provided me with so much more than just a medal.
I can do challenging things I put my mind to.
I can be resilient and dynamic in the face of adversity.
And I feel like I’m only just getting started.
Oh, and I am an IRONMAN 😅
thank you so much to each and every person who has interacted, commented, messaged and supported this journey.
Adios x

Oh, and I am an IRONMAN 😅
thank you so much to each and every person who has interacted, commented, messaged and supported this journey.

how I train 17.5 hrs/wk & work full time.
a big week on Ironman prep, sticking to plan rather than feeling great 100% of the time - at this stage it’s easy to let the fatigue take over.
but the week ended on a 180km // 6km brick high, feeling strong throughout the session and fuelling exactly to plan.
might all be coming together, might not.
met some lovely folks in the park this weekend too, I suppose when you spend 6 hours doing the same loop, you’re bound to make some friends.
as always, have a good week sports fans 🫶🏻 love ya x

no aesthetics, just a turbo in the garage.
and some honest work - I hope you like cycling?
2 x 12min threshold, 8 x 1 min hard

Road to IRONMAN 🇫🇷 Season 3 🫱🏻🫲🏼
Girona Training Camp 🇪🇸⚡️💨
The stats speak for themselves, but boy am I proud of this week.
The old me would have spent a week in Spain on the beers, but 29 year old Gregor spent it on the tools 🏊🚴🏃🏻♂️.
I was really faced with some challenges this week - it was by no means a walk in the park. Being abroad and having all day to train is a blessing, but some of the sessions really pushed me.
Being on the new TT rig was invaluable and as much as it made the climbs a little bit harder the value in spending hours in position will pay off.
As we enter the final phase of training for the Ironman in 5 weeks, it’s all systems go.
Full focus on that finish line and a time that starts with a 9.
Let’s go.

Being on the new TT rig was invaluable and as much as it made the climbs a little bit harder the value in spending hours in position will pay off.
As we enter the final phase of training for the Ironman in 5 weeks, it’s all systems go.
Full focus on that finish line and a time that starts with a 9.
Let’s go.

GIRONA TRAINING CAMP 🇪🇸
A week in my life, on IRONMAN training.
I wanted to spend a week in triathletes paradise, aka Girona, to put myself in the pits - and remind myself of what is required to take on the distance.
A seriously dialled week and I really needed that.
So many lessons from my highest ever volume week and it’s all about keeping the momentum going over the next month - whilst having a little bit of fun with it all.
This video took an absolute age to edit, but I absolutely love it, and I hope you love it too, my dearest sports fans.
Until next time Girona, adios 😭🫶🏻

rough stuff this IRONMAN malarkey 💀
probably the toughest day of training in a long time 😂
forgot how brutal this stuff is, but it’s gotta be done!

ARE YOU SLOW? 💀💨
I was once slow too!
Then I got a TT bike, and now I’m slightly faster!
Jokes aside, beyond grateful to @argon18bike & @sigmasports for sorting me out this incredible rig on the Road to Ironman.
Full video on the bike selection and fit process coming soon but I had to show you the new speed demon.
Been soaking up the miles here in Girona and absolutely LOVING this bike - long may the fun continue.
As they say, you’re not sad - you just needed a new bike.
HERE’S TO MANY HAPPY MILES 💨🔋😛

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
