CDJs can really mess up your beat matching! 😭 Some of you didn’t like my scientific approach of using the same track twice, so here is a more real world example. You can still hear that master tempo and beat sync mess up the transient alignment of the kick drums and make it sound like the tracks are badly beat matched. �So for master tempo try only to turn it on when it’s really needed and for Sync only use the Tempo Sync but not the Beat Sync, the latter is just not working nicely. Just align the tracks by hand it will be fine!�this was tested on CDJ 3000. At least the loops are running clean on these 😅

Just finding out more weird things about the CDJ 3k😭😭 I know many dont like the Sync section anyway, but here is the proof that it truly works worse than you think! For the jogwheel I guess I am just shocked that they work the way they do. It’s the same for CD or Vinyl mode. But for vinyl mode I somehow expected it to make the record faster or slower temporarily when moving the jogwheel, more like what would happen when pushing a vinyl and not just letting it jump in that direction for a few milliseconds. 😔�Did you know any of these shenanigans of the CDJs?

PS: I know some of you didn’t like the experiment of playing two of the same track, but it’s the best way to showcase what is actually happens. I’ll do another video with realworld examples though.
