Our kitchen is old and a little crusty to be completely honest with you. But even though it doesn’t have a dishwasher (😭🥲) it does have some really sweet original features! So until we can renovate I’m going to keep playing into those strengths!

Host 👏 the 👏 party!! Hosting seasonal parties is one of my absolute favorite things to do 🥹 I’m gearing up to throw lots of parties as Eric’s birthday (and mine) are in May and Matilda’s birthday isin June and maybe a little Mother’s Day brunch too! Are you hosting anything this month??
Truly just vibes and feminine intuition. When we saw this house online last June we were not in the market for a new house, we knew eventually we wanted more space but we weren’t in a rush. I saw this house one night on the internet (literally) and the next day we drove by it. Then we drove by it again. Then we drove by it and I may or may not have gotten out and snooped around. When we went to see it for the first time officially Eric and I both just had a feeling that this was a place we could make into a really special home. I could see myself raising kids here and cooking in the kitchen and sitting on the porch (which was actually horrid at the time). So when we moved in last August we had out work cut out for us but so far this house has been such a blessing and we are enjoying every moment of fixing her back up and turning her into a home again. 🥹❤️

I’m so so thankful that Eric and I were able to transform this space into exactly what we wanted: a beautiful and functional space where we can grow our own food, raise animals and spend time outdoors ❤️🧺💐
Our chicken coop isn’t quite finished and the garden is extremely dry from weeks of no rain and the bathroom sink is broken but I still love home more than anywhere else in the world ❤️✨🧺
