Album release announcement - Dear Mr. Hitman
Had the best time working on the music for this story by Julia Byers directed by Lauren Blazey. We all worked on an action comedy and had fun in the process. Somehow we ended up striking a balance between 70s cop shows and The Incredibles.
So much fun that people didn’t stay in their assigned roles. Lauren learned how to play meditation bowls that of course needed to be recorded and written into the score. 1/2 of the Soundbabes ™️ - Julia, also recorded meditation bowls amongst a ton of other things. She says she didn’t loathe the music enough to vote against putting out this soundtrack. The other .5 of the Soundbabes ™️ Hsuan supplied her voice to the main theme - just the best and most fun to work with. The vocals are boosted on the soundtrack version since they are GREAT.
Sunyou, thanks for the awesome mix (especially turning this around in a day).
And thanks to the entire DMH team who advocated for putting this out there. A uniquely fun experience and looking forward to the sequel.
Available anywhere you stream music.

Excited to share that the soundtrack to the short AURA is now available on all streaming platforms.
This is Tarun’s project and vision - I was humbled to contribute just a small part by helping to make some music happen.
The soul we see on screen came from the masterful performance of Raynil that we got to film. He learned how to play NOT ONLY a new piece that was written for the film but classical piano, full stop. Bts pics here of us in some coaching sessions for it — those were some memories. What a guy.
All the stuff you see done with movie musicals and on screen performances technically to record live, we made happen under a massive magnifying glass. Because of Ari, Mark, Maya, Willa, Bella, to the whole production team (equally important!) that helped capture, plan, and sync, we were able to plan and produce a recording of a standalone piece that most humbly, that translates onto the screen in the most detail-oriented way I’ve seen. And it’s all in service of a story. It was an onscreen performance experience on tons of steroids that needs to be seen to be believed, no exaggeration!
Thanks to the SCA for the use of the John Williams stage for initial recording, Barento for recording assistance at the stage, and Elik Alvarez for the use of MusicMind Studios for pickup recordings. No pianos were harmed in the making of this score.
Support by listening and sharing in the meantime.

Soundtrack release.
Thanks go to @aimformia for her wonderful film she directed (and asked me to help with music). From the beginning she was asking for the weirdest music I could dream up which was wild. So we made a piano from a pill bottle, wind machine from a pill bottle, and a pad from a pill bottle. I started playing violin and piano again. And we deleted and edited tirelessly.
Collaborating on the creative endeavor was nothing short of fantastic, and now a larger audience will get to see it at DOCNYC.
Please support by listening to the soundtrack. It’s not a mindless listen but you will have a better day if you listen. Out everywhere you can stream music.
Also special thanks to mentors Lawrence and Steve for pushing me to create some musical textures and threads that I’m especially proud of.

Amazing being part of this GORGEOUS show. Short stories centering around food, friends and culture in here - you’ll enjoy if you like any of these three things.
Elik and the whole @musicmind.co team, thank you for having me on.

Wow, wow, wow! We’re premiering in New York at DOC NYC! 🥳
This is such a dream. I would look up the films of some of the filmmakers I admired most and see that their work had shown at this amazing festival, hoping one day the films I made could show here too, and impact people in the way they had impacted me.
Myself and some of the crew can’t WAIT to premiere this film at the iconic Villlage East by Angelika theater. All there’s left to say is: COME JOIN US! 🥳 (Grab tix through the link in bio)

A fantastic first collaboration with Chris Vinan on his short “Good Luck, Bad Times.” Chris put up with a bunch of my crazy ideas for this, thanks for the trust Chris. It was a treat to channel my inner bluegrass spirit which has been sleeping since my teen years. The film is currently out on Amazon Prime and now, the soundtrack is streaming everywhere you can listen to music (check bio for link).
This score would not have been possible without the talents of Tristan Clarke on trumpet (mad respect sir), Natasha Frank on banjo (master), and the incomparable Joseph Miller, the cowboy of the film who contributed some heartwarming vocals and brazen tenor sax solos. Martinius Solum on additional guitars.
Elik, my mentor for the last year! For listening to early passes and allowing me to mix and record this in your room. JC, for schooling me on the basics of operating a microphone and lending me some guitars.
Please support by lending your ears and eyes to this effort over the last year.

Quasi is out on Hulu today! Thanks @akanawanna for having me on your music team for score programming and congratulations to the whole @brokenlizard team and crew.
@quasimovie

Thanks @musicmind.group @elikalvarezcomposer and @juancammaranomusic to contribute some music to the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules! If you hear some wacky flutes and percussion that may or may not suggest some hip locales, I’m guilty as charged.

Very happy to contribute some music to Telemundo’s newest series “Game Of Lies,” out now weeknights 10pm/9 central. Thanks @musicmind.group @elikalvarezcomposer and @eljoaco78 for having me aboard!

A couple weeks late with this post, but the soundtrack to my first feature is out! Many thanks to @billposley and @jonathan_colomb in helping to guide the development of a score that was built around the Prophet 5 and Rev2 retro synths, an obligatory upright piano, a spot of dark trap beats, and sound design experiments to tie the whole thing together. Thanks also go to #tekmaschine for his awesome mixes and @therealebonytay for kickstarting this collaboration.
It's out everywhere you can stream music which you can probably shortcut to through this link. I would be honored if you would check it out.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
