Korean American Community Foundation
A national philanthropic movement by and for our community.

Joyful to be in community with friends, leaders, and partner organizations at the third annual ASCENT, a celebration of #AsianAmerican leadership in New York City hosted by @voteshekar and @cmlindalee.
Our President & CEO @kyungyoonnyc moderated the panel “Telling Our Stories: AAPIs in Media” featuring @jasonve, President of @papermagazine, and @priyakrishna, reporter and video host for @nytcooking.
The conversation highlighted the importance of representation and the power of who gets to tell our stories and how they are told. At KACF, we believe storytelling plays an important role in building visibility, connection, and deeper support for our communities.
Inspired to celebrate our heritage, our power, and the many ways we are collectively shaping culture, public policy, and media to build a better future for all New Yorkers!

Last Wednesday, KACF’s Board Chair Jeannie Park (@parkjeannienyc) was honored by @nywomensfdn at their annual Celebrating Women Breakfast with a Vision Award—a recognition of her decades of leadership, her deep commitment to community philanthropy, and her lasting impact on equity in media and civic life.
Jeannie’s work embodies what thoughtful advocacy for underserved communities can look like, reflecting her deep commitment to building a philanthropic sector that truly sees and serves those who are too often overlooked. We are so proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition alongside those who have witnessed Jeannie’s impact firsthand.
We’re especially grateful to Jeannie, @karenchoi6, and the YS Kim Foundation for their generosity in bringing our community together in honor of this moment.

At our 2026 Annual Gala, we had the honor of hearing from Irene Jisun Sohn, Executive Director of @hanulfamilyalliance — one of our incredible grantee partners.
Hanul Family Alliance has long been an anchor in Greater Chicago, delivering essential services to Korean older adults, immigrants, and low-income families—from home care, adult day care, and mental health counseling to immigration services, and nutrition programs. Hearing directly from Irene about the impact of KACF’s support was a powerful reminder of what our community’s generosity makes possible.
KACF’s Annual Gala is the largest gathering of Korean American philanthropists and leaders coming together across generations in support of our community. At this year's gala, our community raised $3.5 million together to strengthen Korean American communities nationwide. Funds raised will support KACF and our nonprofit partners nationwide, expanding our reach and deepening our impact in lifting up our most vulnerable neighbors.

This May, in celebration of AAPI Heritage Month, we're proud to share that our President & CEO Kyung Yoon will be taking the stage at Ascent: Our Heritage, Our Power, an annual summit spotlighting AAPI leaders who are shaping New York City and beyond.
Kyung will be moderating Telling Our Stories: AAPIs in Media and will be joined by two extraordinary voices: Jason Ve, President of PAPER, and Priya Krishna, reporter and video host for The New York Times Food and Cooking.
🔗 Don't miss out on this opportunity to hear firsthand from AAPI leaders across diverse industries. RSVP now at ascentnyc.org!

Last Wednesday, KACF was grateful to help bring together our grantee partners for a night out at the @lafc game thanks to the generosity of @jamescha. ⚽🖤💛
Beyond the game, it was a meaningful opportunity to gather, connect, and celebrate the relationships that make this work possible. Our grantee partners are at the heart of KACF’s mission, and moments like these are a reminder that community-building happens everywhere we come together to support one another.

At our 2026 Annual Gala, KACF honored Miyoung Lee, Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Whitney Museum of American Art, for her longstanding commitment to philanthropy and championship of Korean American representation. Miyoung’s story is a powerful reminder that being Korean American is a superpower, and that when our community gives together, we can make an impact at a scale none of us can achieve alone.

What an unforgettable night!
Our 2026 Annual Gala was more than a celebration.
It was a clear reflection of what our community can do when we come together.
Together, we raised $3.5 million to strengthen Korean American communities nationwide. And there was even more to celebrate: this past year, KACF reached a historic milestone of $20 million in cumulative grantmaking since our founding in 2002.
This year, we were deeply inspired by our Honoree, Miyoung Lee @chelseamom65, whose commitment to showing up for others leads by example, and we were proud to honor Trailblazer Awardees @ejae_k, @audreynuna, and @rei.ami, who are opening doors for the next generation.
We’d also like to give a big thank you to Irene Jisun Sohn of @hanulfamilyalliance, one of our grantee partners based in Greater Chicago, for sharing her story. Her passion for serving Korean American families and seniors is inspiring and a powerful reminder of why KACF’s support matters. Our dozens of grantee partners are on the ground every day in service of our community, working toward a future where economic security is within reach for all Korean Americans.
This event was a true team effort, made possible by the generosity and collective effort of our staff, board, sponsors, donors, dinner chairs, and gala co-chairs (@ecbigdaddy, @tinakim2125, and @shinisterrr). A special shoutout to our amazing emcees @jujuchangabc and @cefaan.
Thank you for being part of KACF’s journey—and for helping to build what comes next.

Our President & CEO @kyungyoonnyc recently attended @aapip_org’s Power in Practice Executive Retreat in Los Angeles, where she was able to connect with other AANHPI foundation leaders. It was a meaningful and energizing opportunity to exchange ideas, share challenges, and learn from each other’s work as stewards of AANHPI philanthropy.
Moments like these are a powerful reminder that collective action drives stronger, more lasting change — and it is always so exciting to see growing representation of Korean American leaders in the philanthropic space. We’re grateful to be part of a network that brings AANHPI sector peers together to build a more thriving and sustainable future for our communities.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
