This has been a year of firsts. Last week I was honoured to be asked to present two awards at the ACTRA Toronto Awards.To be able to present @keoghstudio with a Lifetime Membership Award had me very nostalgic. In case you don’t know, she is a puppetry icon and (among many incredible accomplishments) played Muffy Mouse on the 80s series Today’s Special.I was accompanied by my lovely wife which was a blessing. My incredible co-presenter is a wonder young actor named @michaeldpodemski!To make it even sweeter, the organizers were able to get none other than #pogeyfraggle to attend the event.I can confirm that Pogey gave out many hugs.Special thanks to @johnnytartags and @hensoncompany and @jimhensonscreatureshop!It was a wonderful event all around. 🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜

I’m a big believer in pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone.That’s what I did when I accepted an offer to host the live screening event for Season 2 of Go Togo on @cbckidsca recently.This was my first time ever hosting an event like this.An all ages audience watched new episodes by @gazelleautomations, and let me tell you, they are incredible!So, do yourself a favour and check them out on CBC Kids, CBC Gem and on YouTube!
