50 years of The King’s Trust - and what an honour to celebrate it with the incredible ambassadors who stand beside us.

For half a century, The King’s Trust has supported over 1.3 million young people across the UK to build confidence, gain skills and create brighter futures. Today, some of our amazing celebrity supporters are helping us mark this milestone with a message straight from the heart.

From first steps to life‑changing journeys, their voices reflect what our mission is all about: breaking down barriers and opening doors for young people.

From £7,400 in Royal Navy severance pay to a movement that has supported over 1.3 million young people and generated at least £11.4 billion of social value - our story is one of determination, resilience, and hope.

For 50 years, The King’s Trust has helped young people build confidence, gain skills, and move into work, education, or training.

Today, the challenges may have changed, but our mission remains the same: to ensure no young person is held back by unemployment
Thank you to every staff member, volunteer, partner, and supporter who has made this possible — and to all the young people whose courage inspires us every day.

With support from Project Lehar, she returned to school. Today, she’s empowering hundreds of girls in rural India to learn, earn and thrive as a Lehar trainer.

Inspired by what he saw on deployment and at home in Australia, Shannon joined The King’s Trust Australia’s Enterprise Accelerator with an idea to tackle water insecurity head‑on.

Today, his award‑winning business creates clean drinking water from air, cutting plastic waste and bringing safe water to remote communities 💧

And he’s our King's Trust @octopusenergy Global Sustainability Award winner 🏆

Driven by what he saw growing up in Nigeria, Oluchukwu joined our Sustainable Enterprise Challenge programme with a bold idea.

Today, he’s transforming access to medicine through his community pharmacy and affordable HealthShield plan, creating jobs and protecting families from unexpected healthcare costs ♥️
