It’s time to talk “ethical” and what that means to me! Ethics are personal moral principles, so labelling your oddities as “ethical” doesn’t mean anything unless you specify what that entails.
.
How do you source your materials?
The materials I use in my work are either found by myself or sourced from trusted sellers. They are most commonly foraged remains; found in nature or the result of road traffic accidents, with a few pieces being from animals who lived their whole lives in human care and passed of natural causes.
If you want to know the specific sourcing on a piece, please ask!
.
What won’t you use in your work?
Many artists will use remains sourced from pest control or meat/fur industry byproducts, as they have not been killed solely for the purpose of art and are still considered ethical/sustainable, which is what works for them. However, this is not something that aligns with my personal ethics, so I do not use bones from these sources.
.
What about commissions?
If you already own something I wouldn’t normally have sourced myself and you want me to gild it for you, I am happy to do so as it is already in your possession!
I will not go out of my way to obtain anything specifically for a commission if it isn’t from my regular sourcing, even if you have told me you are okay with it, as I am not comfortable doing so. If you want to do the labour of searching and sourcing something for me to work on, you can put in the time to do so and complete that transaction yourself before sending it to me to work on.
.
It is important to be transparent about sourcing within the oddity community, as different peoples ethics mean different things, so I hope this was insightful for anyone wondering where I get my materials from!
If you have any further questions please leave a comment below!
Thank you!

Buy now, pay later options are always available on my website! I know we could all use a little help spreading out payments for a treat sometimes.
✨Afterpay allows you to split the cost into 4 payments with 2 weeks between instalments
✨Klarna allows you to split the cost into 3 payments with 30 days between each instalment
✨Commissions are always split into a 50% deposit and 50% on completion too, to spread out costs! This can be split into more payments if desired to work with your budget.

Did a terrible job at remembering to take photos and videos of my own stall at @liverpoolaltbazaar on Sunday, was too busy chatting, selling, shopping, and taking videos of the rest of the market vibes… here’s a very brief look at my table and my view for most of the night!
Thank you so much as always for coming along to the events I run, it really fills me with so much joy to see the alternative community in Liverpool turn up every bazaar! Catch us in Manchester for @manchesteraltbazaar at the end of the month!

✨ Alternative Market Bingo ✨ Over the past few years selling at markets, I’ve noticed a few trends/popular sightings! Since market season is well underway, I thought I’d share my bingo card of what I always notice at events! Please post this when your fave markets come around (maybe a specific one this Sunday in Liverpool 👀) and tell everyone which of these CLASSIC alternative market sightings you spot! Happy bingoing!
(Yes okay MAYBE I gave @cecily_bumtrinket her own square and included some shameless self promo in there too)

Revealing some Dead Good sheep toes 👀 They need a tiny little touch up and it’s just my luck that the most perfect one (last one shown) didn’t film correctly when I peeled the masking fluid off 🙄 I’ve had these @deadgoodjewellery pieces for so long and only just getting around to working on them and will be available worldwide REAL SOON along with a few other bits from Dead Good!

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
