They are a magical nachos treat that the Mahjong ladies love!

It's an odd combination of ingredients, but when you put them all together there is something about it that just hits right

People will love them, go back for seconds even thirds, and ask what in the world are they made of?
When that gets asked, you know you're onto something good

Don't question the ingredients turn up your nose, just make them according to the recipe
Trader Joe's dill pickle chips
Cape Cod plain potato chips
Parmesan cheese
Swiss cheese
Provolone cheese
Sharp white cheddar
Salami
Prosciutto
Fig jam spread
Apricot jam( don't question it)

Measure with your heart as you tap the chips with all of the ingredients are melted and delicious looking. No additional dip is needed.

Then go on, and get your Mahjong on!

How To Host A Mahjong Night - That Everyone Will Be Sure To Love

Gather your girls and have them spread the word

Gather an even number of people to make it so groups can be playing as they learn

Designate one main person to be the teacher - go over the tiles and the rules .Have a leader sit with each table to guide them as play begins

Have everyone venmo ahead so you have an accurate head count - the venmo covers the lesson, mocktail and appetizers

Set the scene so everyone is excited to be there

Mix up the seats so everyone meets a new friend - if possible everyone sits at a different table than who they came with

Everyone catches the bug!Ladies are all now texting about tiles, certain rules, and making plans to get together again

Just don't forget to take a picture at the end of the Mahjong group that started, planned and orchestrated the entire night like we did!

Dear Girls,
This week while out running errands I saw a billboard outside of a church that said "God leaves little gems for us everywhere."

He sure does

The 10$ bill you found in the pocket of a jacket you haven't worn in a while . . . that's a gem

The gem is in a hug from your mom

The smell of fresh laundry as you lay your head on the pillow at night - a gem

The face that was captured for your school photo and was awful could very well be a gem ( later in life for sure )

God leaves you a gem when you bite into a warm chocolate chip cookie,

A gem is when you get a friendly smile from the deli guy at the supermarket

When a friend shows up or sends a text for no reason - that's a gem

When you look around the dinner table and known that these faces love you even when you are being a jerk - that right there is a lot of gems

Your dad waiting up for you past curfew, he is a gem

A hot shower after a long day

Even a yummy fresh drink filled to thetop with ice and a fat straw can be seen as a gem

My point is, if you look for it you are going to see God's hand surely in any and all circumstances that you are in

We all get busy. Maybe you are bogged downwith school,jobs, sports, all of the everyday life things , and don't see how keenly aware He is of us.When you look for his hand you are bound tosee it.Don't forget to look for the gems

Dear Girls,
It's Easter Sunday.Conference Sunday.What a doubly great day!! Last week I asked all of you your "Because of Him . . ." Statements
This question has been asked to you often (yearly- ish) and it has been such a perk of our parenthood path to watch you learn, grow and progress

Because of Him, we will one day be resurrected and our bodies will be perfect.We will have no physical ailments, pains, or imperfections. Type 1 diabetes will be crushed, no migraines, infections, tumors,cancer, or any sort of deformity. What a beautiful day thatwill be.

Because of Him we get to laugh and experience life! I love that I get to do those things with u guys and on my own! We are so lucky! 🍀

Because of Him . . . When we have bad days we can have a fresh start all over again ( the current swiss house residents know what I mean by this more than anyone !)

Because of Him … we have the daily opportunity to learn and grow stronger. This might mean discovering something new about ourselves or deepening our relationships with friends, family, and the Savior. Because of Him, each day we get to learn something big or small which is a beautiful thing!

Because of Him I can move my body everyday and do what I can to become more like Him. Because of Him I can be an example of Him and an instrument to bring those closer to him.I can laugh 24/7 and spread love and joy! Because of Him I've got a pretty legit family!

Because of Him we can have confidence in a world filled with uncertainty. We can trust that everything will work out

Because of Him we have eternal families. We have a friend, companion, and teacher who understands our needs, wants, desires and fills them!

Because of Him … I have the developed the discipline, strength, and opportunity to play sports, grow through challenges, and be part of something that supports and uplifts me

You truly are our greatest treasures.Oh how you are loved and adored!
