We tagged our way into Series 3 of Collage + Connect last month with Stuck On Stories.
Through street art, stickers, collage, and conversation we explored the power of names, identity, and the marks we leave behind.
Participants created monikers, designed sticker tags, and wrote love letters to their names reflecting on the stories, memories, and meaning carried inside them. What began as collage foundations turned into a spontaneous spoken word share filled with vulnerability, laughter, poetry, and truth.
From sticker to street, from nickname to self-definition, we honored the ways identity shows up in public and private spaces. Every tag became a declaration.
We are so grateful to continue building community, creativity, and connection together one layer at a time.

Last weekend at People’s Park for Lower East Side History Month, our theater ensemble led by @papersoulart was assigned to write a poem about our feelings… so I decided to dedicate mine to my kids.
After I finished writing it, for some reason I ain’t even wanna read it out loud. The park is literally behind the building that raised me… I guess that made me extra nervous. I almost backed out. I ain’t even go to rehearsal.
But with encouragement from my classmates, I did it.
The poem is called “I Been Called Everything.”
I realized it’s easier for me to write my feelings than talk about them. Standing in the same neighborhood that made me, reading something that personal out loud, made me feel exposed in a way I can’t explain.
I honestly ain’t expect people to start crying while I was reading it. That’s when I realized how real those words really was.
That day I let people hear a side of me I usually keep hidden.
But I spoke anyway ❤️

LES Yearbook is excited to announce we will be at the Loisaida Festival this Sunday May 24th 2026 rain or shine from noon-5pm

LES Yearbook would like to thank everyone who celebrated with us on a beautiful day at the People’s Park💚
Thank you to all the organizations that came out and hosted fun activities and resources for our neighbors.
Special shout out to @evlovesnyc for providing hot meals and feeding over 100 folks at Wald Houses & @designtrustnyc for the pizzas 🍕 & beverages!
Huge thank you to all of our volunteers and to Anthony from @jobsplus_lowereastside for helping with providing us tables, chairs, tent for the DJs and making the day run smoothly we couldn’t have done it without you all.
And congratulations to our community members who received citations from @harveyforny in recognition of everything you do for our neighborhood ✨

Came to 6th St & Ave D to grab my favorite steak sandwich from Juan’s just to find out they’re permanently closing… smh. Sad day for Ave D.
That store been part of the neighborhood for over 30 years. So many memories in there. Juan told me today he watched me grow up and he really did. We used to watch fights through the window, he always looked out for us with credit when we needed it, and if you wasn’t paying attention he might keep your change 😂
End of an era fr. Gonna miss that spot heavy ❤️
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
