Yesterday was so much more than a makeup class.💐✨

It was women showing up for themselves. Learning new skills. Laughing, connecting, being reminded that beauty isn’t about perfection…it’s about confidence and the way you carry yourself from the inside out.

But if I can be honest, I almost talked myself into completely canceling this event…

but I’m so glad I didn’t.

Because watching every woman leave glowing (literally & emotionally🥹) reminded me exactly why I love doing this. Thank you to every person who registered, supported, encouraged me, and trusted me to pour into you.

Atlanta…this was special. And I think we’re just getting started.

Im already dreaming up the next experience because it’s about more than just makeup for me. It’s about sisterhood, healing, fun, faith, beauty, and real conversation all in one room.

We talk a lot about communication, healing, and doing the “work” in marriage…and yes, that absolutely matters.

But can we also talk about the power of simple?

No pressure.
No heavy conversation.
No fixing.
Just presence.

As women, we naturally carry so much. Mentally, emotionally, spiritually. And men are carrying heavy loads we can’t see as well.

So when he pauses long enough to create space for you to just be, not perform. It does something to your heart.

Because deep roots in marriage aren’t only formed in hard seasons…

They’re also formed in light, easy, joy-filled moments that say:
I see you.
I choose you.
I care about what matters to you too.

One thing that really stuck with me today from church is that…

Temptation isn’t a new problem, it’s a predictable pattern. The enemy has no new tricks, but he has time. So he patiently & consistently sits back & studies the things our flesh likes. The things that will easily set us up.

But God doesn’t want us to fear temptation…

He wants us to face it, because He always provides a way of escape.

The more we practice resisting the enemy, the easier it becomes to do.

Be careful with what you entertain & be intentional on where you pour.

God knows what He put inside of us and He deeply wants us to pass these tests of temptation. And when we miss the mark, there is grace…

but HIS desire is that we daily, continually submit OUR desires to become more & more brand new in Him.🤍
