Spent a lot of time looking at the world from above for these visuals for @annielif’s “What kind of Animal is the Earth” on a text by @aleksi.barriere in

This piece is orchestrated for baroque instruments by #juhatkoskinen and performed by @finnish_baroque_orchestra directed by harpsichordist @henriksson.marianna, who invited 17th-century music by Kepler’s contemporaries to enter a dialogue with the music of our time.

Tuula Riisalo, viola
Louna Hosia, viola da gamba
Anna Rinta-Rahko, violone

“In the year 1626 (or 2026) while political and religious forces fight for influence, scientific research unravels crucial data that calls into question our way of thinking about our place in the universe – and we react with nothing but confusion and embarrassment.
This is not what this century was supposed to be about.”
Last fall ✴︎ EARTHRISE premiered at the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki, a music theatre based on the astronomer Johannes Kepler’s “The Dream,”, starring actor @thomaskellnerofficial as Johannes Kepler.
Featuring vocal artist @annielif, with new music by composer Juha T. Koskinen and harpsichordist and musical leader @henriksson.marianna inviting 17th-century music by Kepler’s contemporaries to enter a dialogue with this music of our time. Written and directed by @aleksi.barriere
Thanks to @heklaproductions for the filming!

☾☼ Moon visuals for the day of the lunar eclipse, when Duracotus and Fjordhilde (played by actor @thomaskellnerofficial and vocal artist @annielif) travel to the moon, guided by the friendly spirit of Astronomy and the harpsichord improvisations of @henriksson.marianna, in
the music theatre show ✴︎ EARTHRISE, based on astronomer Johannes Kepler’s science fiction novel “The Dream,” which premiered last fall at the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki, combining 17th-century compositions from Kepler’s contemporaries with new music by #juhatkoskinen and vocal artist @annielif.
In this novel about an astronomer and his mother (inspired by his own biography) Kepler tried to advance a new worldview by speaking to his readers’ imagination: what would our world look like if seen from the Moon?
Kepler saw fictional writing, visual arts, and music as useful devices that could illuminate science and expand its methods and audiences.

✴︎ Visuals for @annielif performing her “Song of Libuše,” on a text by @aleksi.barriere, telling the story of Libuše, whose rule of knowledge and wisdom was, according to the Czech legend, overthrown when men took political power.
Part of the music theatre work ✴︎ EARTHRISE which premiered at the Finnish National Opera a year ago, based on the science fiction novel “The Dream” by astronomer Johannes Kepler, and his attempt to defend his mother Katharina Kepler who was tried as a witch in a time marked by religious wars.
“Song of Libuše” was orchestrated for baroque instruments by Juha T Koskinen and performed by @finnish_baroque_orchestra under the direction of harpsichordist @henriksson.marianna:

Three years ago, the music theatre piece THE FATZER SOLDIER’S TALE premiered in Musiikkitalo, Helsinki! :')
This is one of the animated collages for the visuals on stage that I created by digging through World War 1 propaganda, mixing it with images documenting the destruction.
"In the spring of 1917, four German soldiers learn that a revolution has broken out in Russia and decide to desert and go into hiding until the “Inevitable Revolution” spreads across Europe—how could it not, since the soldiers at the front and the workers in the factories all want the war to end?
But when they discover the selfish motives of their leader, the anarchist Fatzer, the deserters realize that there is not much reason in history..."

IT’S OUT! We are finally releasing the music video DRUNK LAMENT, on a song by @andreasjuhani!
It’s been a lot of fun animating this two-minute music video in stop motion, entirely from hand-colored and cut-out video prints, as a kaleidoscopic (roller) coaster through an intoxicated mind.
“I order one more round but drinking / doesn’t make it better.”
DRUNK LAMENT is a song on Andreas’ latest album APRIL, Check out his profile for the link!

If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
