Arguably one of the most important days to celebrate… World Art Day. We couldn’t wait to share this piece made with such intention by @_meniram_ during their summer internship at MAKE.

It leans into that space between what feels familiar and what feels just a little off. The mystery, beauty, "normalcy"… all present, but gently warped into a version of reality that’s open to interpretation, and that's art for ya.

There’s real care in how the animation unfolds in the pacing, and in the way the concept holds and lets you settle into it. Even in the small, almost hypnotic details, like time passing in a way that feels strangely… digestible.

Turning something abstract into something you can feel, even briefly, is no small thing. We loved seeing the world through Marine’s eyes.

We love to make work that’s all about going SPICIER, being more FLAVORFUL, and packing that EXTRA heat in every frame. So we had to share this clip. Not every ad we take on calls for Anime, but when it does, we go all in.

Every frame does exactly what it should: over-the-top expressions, dynamic movement, and animation that looks, feels, and tastes immersive. Plus spicy noodles?? C'mon, it's Anime gold.

Created by the talented @mavzip during her internship at MAKE, this eye-candy piece explores the many ways love can manifest. Each transition reveals a new pairing, a new world, and a reminder that connection shows up in more ways than we expect.

A simple yet resonant concept, executed with ever-so-smooth transitions and a carefully crafted world where love is simply everywhere, Marissa turned a small window of time into a looping love note designed to be shared with someone you love, like… or are simply thinking about this Valentine’s Day.

The infinite zoom concept really pulls you in and allows Kiu to transition between diverse worlds and characters ever so smoothly. Whether it's an open door or a blooming meadow, there's always something new to notice on every rewatch.

Today’s National Bubble Bath Day. Let these 10 seconds wash over you. Created by @hannah.coan

Hand-drawn effects animation was the core of the piece, as the popping bubble plunges us underwater into a dreamscape where time pauses and we sink into a new world.

Making something this considered is difficult in its simplicity, but doing it while balancing multiple challenges is why we all need 10 seconds to lose ourselves in this visual escape.

Hannah nailed that balance in her internship, turning a tiny window of time into an escapist vignette that lives happily in its own dream world.

Snow is hitting us hard. Like every year, being a Minnesotan, everything gets quieter, darker, and colder outside, but it gets even stranger inside. You’d think this weather would slow us down, but no. We built ourselves a snow globe.

This is the part of making short-form content we love most. A snow globe goes from table decor to a scene of just pure chaos and, of course, death.

Yep, this is our version of getting festive!!!

We're celebrating Thanksgiving by letting the turkey make a run for it. Literally.

Another “Day of ___” where our interns take the wheel, break the rules, and just MAKE. For this one, @minse0kwon took the reins and imagined a half-cooked turkey who takes one look at the dinner table and immediately nopes out of being the main course. Watching this thing take shape has been a pure joy, especially the animation behind that wild wattle whipping and wobbling around. Incredible. And the cherry on top is the texturing work from @aminaftali that makes the whole piece pop.

Minseo, thank you for turning a Thanksgiving staple into a full-blown escape artist. 🦃💨

We’re rolling into National Play-Doh Day with a little extra squish from @kulins.art.

Another national “Day of ____” where our creative interns experiment, play, and MAKE. Kulin brought dinos to life with TyFlow and VDB meshing, while V-Ray powered the look-dev process.

As Kulin said, “Had an absolute blast making this project! TyFlow is a total lifesaver when it comes to VDB meshing and animation, and V-Ray made the look-dev process a joy; it’s such a powerful render engine.”

Fun fact: the dinos aren’t just blobs, they’ve got names. Meet Lou, Blue, and Stu.

Kulin, thanks for reminding us that imagination is meant to be molded.

Another national “Day of ____” where our interns take the lead, explore, and just MAKE. Amit Naftali leaned into a mix of mediums, blending both 2D and 3D elements to craft a piece that is equal parts curious, comical, and true to nature. It’s a playful look at the food chain in action.

Intern @stromslawson put his own spin on #NationalVinylRecordDay.

This continues our tradition of interns choosing one national “Day of ______” to bring to life, sparked by their own interests.

For Storm? That’s vinyl. Specifically, the process no one sees on how vinyl gets made. It's giving us serious "how it's made" vibes, reimagined in a tactile, retro, neon-soaked shop.

"I wanted to work with every tool in 3DS Max, which meant a lot of exploration and trial and error. I’ve always been passionate about music and collect physical media, so this day had my name on it," said Storm.

We'll keep spinning this record all day long (the stamping? Very satisfying.)
