🚨COVER REVEAL!!!🚨
Super excited to reveal the cover of my debut graphic novel MONKEY KING AND THE WORLD OF MYTHS: THE MONSTER AND THE MAZE. (Publisher:@penguinkids) The book will be out April 2, 2024.
The action-packed graphic novel series will be perfect for kids (and young-at-hearts) who love mythology, humor, and friendship adventures!
Summary:
A long-forgotten evil has reemerged, determined to transform everyone—humans, beasts, and gods alike—into monsters. And there’s only one being who can stop it, or at least that’s what he thinks. Sun Wukong, aka the Monkey King, is said to be the mightiest of all beasts, and he’s made a deal with the gods. They will grant him his greatest wish and make him a god too. All he has to do is battle these monsters, defeat this evil, and basically save the world. What could possibly go wrong?

Do you listen to anything when you draw? 🎨
This month on my Substack, I explore what might be happening in my brain when I work and listen to stuff, inspired by a book I really enjoyed: “Seven and a Half Lessons About the Brain”, by Lisa Feldman Barrett. 🧠⚡️

Bengal has been roaming my hood for a long while now. On his good days, he’ll even let me pat him.
But every time I make a TNR appointment, he would simply disappear the night of trapping. It’s as if he has some sixth sense, and he’s not falling for it.
I staked out for three hours last night, but again Bengal didn’t show up. I ended up catching a tuxedo-cat who occasionally passed by the hood — he was yowling very loudly. Well, he got my attention. Okay. We can fix you first.
As for Bengal, well, there’s always another time.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about Dorie Clark’s The Long Game and what it means for those of us making books in uncertain times.
I wrote about that in my latest Substack.

A big congratulations to the latest release of I’M BUSY, written by Michael Ian Black @michaelianblack, wonderfully illustrated by Debbie Ridpath Ohi @inkygirl, published by @simonkids.
This is a funny picture book with a kind reminder of what to do when our schedules get out of control. Such a great read! Best for age 4-7. 😊

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
