Our studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom Backyard models each ship as a single module. Simple. The XLs are a different animal: three modules each. The middle one (we call it Module B) does all the heavy lifting: every mechanical system, both bathrooms, tucked in the center. That frees the outer modules to flex in size depending on which model we’re building, which is basically what makes an 800 square foot XL 8 and a 950 square foot XL 10 share the same bones. It’s something you’d never see from the outside, but the reason the whole thing works.

Last week, we installed a new home for Rosalina in Altadena. She lost her home in the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. Months before the fire, her insurance had been cancelled, leaving her without a clear path back.
Through our partnership with @steadfastla, we built and installed a new home for Rosalina at no profit and at no cost to her. It’s the first of several homes we’ll install this year for underinsured homeowners who want to return and rebuild the communities they’re part of.
Rebuilding after a disaster is a deeply personal choice. We stepped up by doing what we know how to do—designing and building homes—but the real work belongs to the people who choose to come back and start again.
Welcome home, Rosalina <3

A little over a month ago we spent a day with Elaine, who built a Backyard with Samara, at her home in Irvine. She fed our crew persimmons and Japanese sweet potatoes with chili crisp, and spoke candidly about how she never thought homeownership (or building an ADU) was in the cards for her. We talked about parental pressure, money, self-doubt, and what ultimately made taking bigger steps feel possible.
It’s a sweet little interview. Read it for yourself through the link in our bio.

Kitchen 2.0 is now standard in every Backyard model, with more storage, finish options, and functionality. Enough room for the pots you swear you’ll use someday. Design yours at samara.com (link in bio).

It’s your office on Mondays, a guest suite on weekends, and a breakfast nook always. Meanwhile, your garage is still just a garage. #MeetSamara

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
