What a treat it was to be able to fly through the NBC studios in Stamford, Connecticut during the Milan Cortina Olympics. It was a small segment talking about the influence of drones during this year's Olympics Games and I was happy to give everyone a small tour through the air. The drone was a DJI Avata 2 and was filmed in 4 segments (outside, through the main "central park" area of the studios, then through halls and control room, and finally into the studio and the awaiting hand of the one and only Scott Hanson. With a minute of coaching and a few rehearsals, Scott bravely and effortlessly caught the drone at the end of his read to end a fun segment. #NBC #olympics #Gcam #dji @gcam.tv

One open of many from these past two weeks of flying for both men’s and women’s US Amateur Golf. It was an amazing experience to try my hand at flying for a new sport. Lots of creative liberty around these scenic courses. It’s also fun to have the confidence to regularly hit gaps like this and hear the excitement from the truck. The 2024 football season wrapped up the way it started: with @wandercreative_fl on the gimbal, @mavitable out in the cold, and @gcam.tv running around on the field. It’s been an honor to be a part of the inaugural season of live drone for both Sunday Night Football and Thursday Night Football! There were some growing pains but a ton of successes and we learned a lot. Even though it was our first season we paved the way for live drone with the NFL and broadcast sports in general. We got access to flight areas that had never been accessed before and built a reputation of success and respect. Hopefully it’s the start of many seasons to come!

Flying with the best in the biz and setting the precedent for flying at Northwest stadium in Maryland. Amazing footage from last weekend’s snowed out game in Buffalo, NY. @wandercreative_fl @noahphoto @mavitable braved the elements and closed out NBC’s Thanksgiving Hell Week of 3 games in 7 days. Even though the snow was coming down hard, it was mostly dry and fluffy so it didn’t stick to the drone while flying and they were able to stay up for the entire game to get the show aerial coverage.

My first time flying for B1G Saturday was a treat. What an awesome, laid back yet dialed crew to meet and work with. @gcam.tv provided the Mavic 3 and with the help of @crawford_cameraop we brought live ariel images for the Oregon/Washington game this weekend. Im grateful for the opportunity to work with such a tight group of people and fly in amazing places!Hopefully we get invited back next year!

This SNF Thanksgiving game was incredible! Got to visit and fly around the legendary Lambeau Field, helped make some amazing TV, worked with a great crew and got to fly the scenic shots which meant FPV in cool places (like the Madden Bus!) Overall, a memorable evening doing what I love!

Even though I was away for the holiday, I knew a lot of my family was watching the game and it made me feel closer to them each time a shot made airIt also helps that the people I work with are pretty cool too. We’ve got a good GCAM Fam going on ❤️❤️

This summer for the Olympics, Myself and 4 other shooters were teamed up with an audio mixer dubbed "Team LiveU" - a newer unit for the Olympics who's job was to to interviews, capture stories, do live hits, follow friends and family and shoot B-roll all throughout the arenas and the streets of Paris. Our cameras didn't have to be plugged into a truck; we could send our signal and be shaded by any venue or from the BOC (headquarters back in the US) from literally anywhere in Paris. It'll be interesting to see how this unit will develop and how this technology will allow us to expand Olympic coverage.

Each year NBC Primetime Olympic coverage ends the multi week broadcast with the "Titan Rollout"; a compilation and summery of the best of the best shots and stories captured during that year's Olympic coverage. This year was my first Olympics and I wanted to make my own 'Titan Rollout' to showcase how I got to experience my first (of many???) games as seen through my lens!

World Series of Poker 2024!

What a crazy event this has been that would’ve have even been possible without the love and support from family, friends and coworkers. I got into a really tough position when a good chunk of my equipment was stolen out of my car, while working in Las Vegas the day before my first day of work at the World Series of Poker.

In less than 24 hours, the steadicam community (namely @williamd314 and @iamriles) and the my @echoentertainment_inc coworkers had me up and running with borrowed gear.

Additionally, my mom, while feeling helpless all the way in Colorado, decided to start a GoFundMe page to help recoup some of the immediate most important pieces of gear to help me with the next couple of jobs… Namely, the Paris Olympics.

After eight days of the GoFundMe being live, over $7,500 was kindly and generously donated to me and my family.

I’m overcome with emotion when I think about how many people saw my story and decided to help out whether it be big or small. The sympathy, the money, the camaraderie, the sense of community was a swift reminder that I am surrounded by people who love and care for me, my family, and my oppertunity to work in the career that I love.
