Trying a trend but you spend all day on a film set 😮💨
It’s tough out here - watching Steven Spielberg’s “Hook” (1991) on my focus monitor during lunch.

I started waterskiing when I was 12 years old and have been on the water every year for a week or two since then. I haven’t had the privilege of skiing for the last four years but was lucky enough to spend two days with some really close friends bringing in the new year. Perfect start to 2025 I’d say 🌟
Let’s get it! One week since my first IronMan70.3 and I am still BUZZING! The highs were high and to be honest, even the lows were pretty high.
Starting strong in the swim with a time of 39 minutes, 25 minutes faster than I thought I might finish, I came out the water feeling good and ready to ride. This was also my first open water swim and I can’t even tell you I lucky I felt to have the incredible conditions that we did.
Onto the bike! The first half of the 90km cycle I breezed through and coming into the halfway mark I was still feeling great (not even a 6km climb could get me down). Fast forward to 70km and a huge cramp in the hamstring, quad and calf of my left leg had me riding almost 10km/h slower than I had been and I definitely thought my race was over right then. Whether this was a lack of water, salts or stretching I’m not sure but it’s something I’ll be looking into for sure. This was probably my biggest battle - fighting a headwind and cramps, the last 20kms back into Mossel Bay were tough, but we made it with a ride time of 03h30m13s which was over 30min faster than I had anticipated.
Onto the run, which I knew would be the hardest part for me, I was worried about my legs but pushed through five very intense hamstring cramps to finish my first IronMan70.3 in 06h56m36s. 884th position of 2500 people overall which I am super pumped with.
Also a huge shoutout to everyone who supported the Miles For Meals BackABuddy campaign. That was a huge motivator for me, with the goal reached 150% above what I had originally set, it really was the perfect push to finish this thing I had started.
Durban here we come?
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
