Rising high school juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to experience MMC’s interdisciplinary approach to dance training, engaging students in a diversity of dance forms, creative processes, and critical inquiry.
The program offers technique classes in Ballet, Modern, Embodied Africanist Aesthetics, and Jazz. Beyond the studio, students explore the intellectual foundations that deepen their understanding of dance as both an artform and a multifaceted field of study.Through courses in Dance & Cultural History, Stagecraft, Anatomy, and Somatic Awareness, students learn to connect embodied practice with critical thinking, research, and reflection.
