Our module 3 on NFTS modelmaking was to design and make a stop motion puppet in the style of @aardmananimations. I used the opportunity to make a one man band which I’ve wanted to do for a long time and I included a Disney twist with his uniform in the style of Disneyworlds Main Street Philharmonic.
Steep learning curve for me but a really really fun one. I learnt so many new processes with the help of our visiting puppet gods Joe Holman, @corbenjosie, the costume queen @lucysturley_costumes and @jlee.rockyroad overseeing the chaos🫶

A hero head was sculpted in plasticine and a cast of it was modified to create a second head that needed two replacement mouth pieces. Both heads were then cast in fibreglass.
