Portrait of Britain Win!
I’m incredibly proud to share that this portrait of the legend that is Ronnie Jameson has been selected as one of the winning images in this year’s @bjp1854 Portrait of Britain.
Portrait of Britain is such a powerful and vital documentation of our diverse, resilient and vibrant country - capturing faces, lives and stories from every corner of the UK. It’s a true celebration of identity, connection and the spirit that continues to inspire and shape us.
Massive thanks to the brilliant judges for all the time, care and thought that goes into making this selection, the standard of work this year is incredible.
@rene.matic @__sophie.parker__ @dennismcevoymorris @missrees @alice.zoo @hohumha @tomboothwoodger @viviennegamble
Thank you to @bjp1854 for creating and sustaining such an important platform for photographers, and to the partners and sponsors behind Portrait of Britain for championing voices that reflect who we are as a nation.
Honoured to be part of it.

As you might have heard through my admittedly relentless posts, I came away with Gold and Silver at last night’s @assocphoto Awards.
I wanted to share the full set of images from this series and the words behind them, as this is such a deeply personal series.
In Her Own Time is an ongoing portrait series made with my daughter, a neurodivergent child growing up in a world that often asks for sameness. Through stillness, play, and moments of quiet defiance, the work explores how she sees, feels, and moves through life on her own terms. This isn’t a story of overcoming, it’s a story of becoming. As a photographer and parent, I use the camera not to explain her, but to stay close: to witness the complexity, the softness, and the fierce selfhood that can’t be rushed or reshaped.
The series is an invitation to slow down and consider how we define “normality”, progress, and value. It’s also a personal reflection on care, time, and the beauty of difference, photographed not from the outside looking in, but side by side.

Huge thanks to @darvishfakhr for collaborating on this portrait, @bjp1854, @jcdecaux_uk, and @bluecoatpress for making it all possible. Special thanks to @erst.while and @oldroyalnavalcollege for providing such a stunning location to bring this vision to life.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of leading a photowalk workshop for some of the wonderful folk @buildhollywood as part of World Mental Health Awareness Week.
We spent a few hours walking along the Regent’s Canal near Angel, slowing down, looking closer and experiencing a familiar neighbourhood with fresh eyes.
One of the things I love most about these workshops is being reminded that no two people ever see the world in quite the same way. Standing in the exact same place, we’re all drawn to completely different moments, details, colours, textures and stories.
Here’s a snippet of some of the moments 10 people were drawn to.
A good reminder that there’s no right or wrong way - only your way.
✨

*New Work*
From our Lightness of Being series // @darvish.studio
The title came from the idea that being can be light, playful, calm, and fun - it felt like the perfect way to capture what we wanted to say with the project. A gentle response to the head-down, fast-paced living we’d grown used to, it’s a reminder that we can slow down and engage with the world differently.

*New work*
It’s been a while since @darvish.studio and I added to our Lightness of Being series - but when he calls to say there’s an ostrich on wheels available, you don’t ask questions…
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
