Making a new magazine is a revolution, making volume XV seven years later an evolution.
When @mette_barfod_@s__g__l and I got together earlier this year to plan Ark XV we agreed that we wanted to take @arkjournal to the next level: aesthetically in the way we shoot and show features as well as in the overall design of the magazine and editorially in depth and breadth, and substance.
I’m so proud of what we achieved, working with such amazing contributors and subjects, and can’t wait for the issues to come.

I love this shot from our story - the one and only Vuokko - the legendary 89 year old Finnish designer who lives in a house designed by her late husband Antti in the 1970s and still, as she says, the ‘perfect’ house.
