We recently hosted @channel4 film crew at one of our projects 🎥

As part of a new documentary series, Kevin McCloud’s Listed Britain, Kevin visited the Grade I listed church tower being retained at Fifty Fenchurch Street to form part of the 36-storey commercial development.

The documentary explores the stories, secrets, and struggles behind the UK’s most famous Grade I and Category A protected landmarks, and it was a pleasure to take part alongside our clients @bnppam #alts and YardNine.

You can watch it via the link in our bio 🔗

Yesterday marked an important milestone for Multiplex, as Suzannah Nichol OBE, CEO of Build UK, officially opened our new Centre for Excellence.

Designed for hands‑on technical training, quality assurance and collaboration, the Centre brings our commitment to quality to life through live demonstrations and full‑scale construction mock‑ups. Fully powered by our solar farm, it reflects how operational excellence and sustainability go hand in hand.

The Centre provides a platform to bring together our people, supply chain partners and clients, supporting a shared commitment to quality and collaborative delivery from the outset.

A huge thank you to our supply chain partners whose support made this possible.

Keep watching to learn more about the vision behind our Centre for Excellence 🎥

Jahn Court has completed!

The Jahn Court redevelopment forms part of the wider Regent Quarter masterplan by Nan Fung Group and @enduranceland, transforming the existing building and adjoining Victorian structures to provide flexibility through 110,000 sq. ft of research and development workspace.

As a hub of engineering and a key part of the area's industrial history since the 1850’s, the adaptive reuse development has been reinvented with two new floors, structural strengthening, and seamlessly integrated new and retained façade elements.

We’re proud for Jahn Court to have received the highest possible recognition of Most-Considerate at the recent @ccscheme National Site Awards.

A huge thank you to our dedicated supply chain partners for successfully delivering this fantastic project, despite a highly constrained site and the close proximity to major rail infrastructure.

What does it take to deliver a tall tower in the heart of one of the world’s busiest cities - while protecting a 700‑year‑old Grade I‑listed church tower, temporarily suspended 15 metres in the air?

In our latest op‑ed for Tall Buildings, Karl Wilkinson, Project Director at Fifty Fenchurch Street, explores the precision, innovation and collaboration behind delivering a landmark scheme in London’s Square Mile.

The piece highlights our Safety by Design approach, alongside the introduction of @roborigger in the UK - an automated crane load‑control device Multiplex has co‑developed, tested and advanced. This is the first time it has been used on a Multiplex project in the UK.

Managing deliveries and waste removal on a site bordered by the River Thames and Borough Market presented a unique set of challenges for the project team delivering The Delft (aka Minerva House) on behalf of @gpe_london. To overcome this, the team turned to the Thames itself, with a solution led by @morrisroegroup.

The introduction of a barge enabled water‑borne deliveries and waste removal, keeping progress moving on site while eliminating the need for more than 600 waste vehicle movements - delivering a significant reduction in carbon emissions. In total, almost 10,000 tonnes of materials, including 52 façade panels, were transported by river.

As Colin of GPS @marine_and_civil_services Ltd puts it, the Thames is “basically like the M25 running through the centre of London” - and it remains highly under‑utilised.

Keep watching our short film to see how the barge was removed from site.

We’re proud to celebrate 76 Southbank, winner of Best Refurbished / Recycled Workplace at the @bco_uk Awards.

Recognised for its exceptional refurbishment and extension of Sir Denys Lasdun’s final major building, the project was delivered with remarkable care and attention.

Judges praised the project team for its sensitive material approach - from replicating the original precast granite panels to reimagining the building’s connection to the public realm with new entrances and generous riverside terraces.

A true reflection of the collaboration and expertise behind the project.

A look back through the archive - One Leadenhall, then and now.

Over 2 million hours were dedicated on site to complete the build of One Leadenhall, located next to the iconic Leadenhall Market in London’s Square Mile.

To support the structural load of the new 35-storey commercial tower, 58 load bearing piles and 45 plunge column piles were installed by @franki_foundations.

Given the iconic market’s origins date back to the 14th century along with its existing 1880’s Victorian structure, the project demanded a highly considered approach. By combining creative engineering with innovative design thinking, we delivered a solution that protected the market’s Victorian structure while ensuring its long-term resilience.

NEXTDC B2 Brisbane Stage 2 is levelling up in Brisbane! ⚡️

Construction has reached Level 3 on the AI-ready data centre, with structure and services advancing concurrently through prefabrication and off-site construction methods.

🏗️Over 300 precast concrete panels will be installed
🏗️12 prefabricated wet‑services (hydraulic) risers are enabling vertical services installation to progress in parallel to the structure.

These rises span levels 3 to 8 and are shared across four trades. Fabricated off site and lifted in two 20‑metre sections, the risers reduce work at height, minimise scaffold interaction and support controlled installation.

A strong example of coordinated delivery improving safety and efficiency as the project continues to progress. #builttooutperform #NEXTDC

Sub‑structure works at the @uofglasgow Keystone project are now complete and on programme, marking a significant milestone and providing a strong platform for the superstructure, which is now progressing above ground.

Set to become the second‑largest building on campus, Keystone will deliver a mix of dry and wet laboratories alongside high‑specification computing spaces. To support these specialist uses, the building incorporates bespoke structural solutions, including the exclusion of certain materials to prevent magnetic interference and ensure sensitive equipment can operate to the highest standard.

This milestone reflects a strong team effort in overcoming a number of technical challenges, including complex basement temporary works and difficult weather conditions.

What does the role of a Technical Lead at Multiplex entail?

Meet David Ray, Technical Lead at St John's Wood Square, a super-prime residential development located within one of London's most established and desirable neighborhoods.

Day in day out, David works closely with our in-house Digital team to ensure that the proposed design translates into to the finished product, and that any clashes or inefficiencies are resolved before materials are manufactured or built on site.

Close collaboration is required with our consultants and supply-chain to ensure that the building design remains fully compliant with all statutory consent and regulations.

🎥 Keep watching our latest episode of 'My Role at Multiplex' to discover David’s route into the built environment (and his unwavering passion for Luton Town F.C.), and how his role differs through each stage of the project.

Our Television Centre project team recently welcomed a group of @mencap learners for a day on site. The charity focuses on improving the employment options for people with a learning disability.

Facilitated in collaboration with @stanhope_plc Stanhope Foundation, the introductory experience was designed to build confidence and spark interest in construction. On the day, an interactive overview of the project was delivered followed by a guided tour of the live site, giving learners a clear, real‑world understanding of how complex projects are delivered at Multiplex.

The visit provided learners with valuable exposure to roles they may not have previously considered, helping them understand the variety of opportunities across the industry. For many, it was their first time on a construction site, offering an inspiring and accessible insight into the sector.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
