Bai Ga has always been one of those songs I never wanted to touch because I respected it too deeply.
When Arushi told me about the hafla showcase night, I kept coming back to this song, almost preparing myself mentally to finally dance to it.

I first tried choreographing it, but it didn’t feel right. This song needed honesty more than counts. So I took the scariest route for me, improvisation.

I listened to it for days, trying to understand every nuance and emotion. I expected sensuality to come through while performing, but what surprised me was the feeling of devotion and longing that took over instead. In that moment, it felt spiritual.

So grateful I took that risk.
This performance shifted something in me.
