How to turn random city details into a whole typography system?
Our Graphic Design student Matilde Cremonesi shows you exactly how: walking around the city, spotting iron gates, photographing patterns, getting obsessed with those tiny details we all ignore — then slowly turning them into letters, shapes, a bold visual language.
That’s how her second-year Editorial Design project “Iron Script” came to life: not from a brief, but straightfrom the city itself — because sometimes inspiration is literally right in front of you, if you look close enough.

Six days. One of the biggest weeks in international design. One project that just kept pulling people in 👀
At Milano Design Week 2026, NABA landed at Palazzo Litta with “Extreme Environments”, created in collaboration with CIAL, Consorzio Nazionale per il Riciclo degli Imballaggi in Alluminio.
Developed by students from the Design Area and the MA in Creative Media Production, the installation explored what design can become when pushed right to the edge — reacting and opening up new visions across extreme environmental, social and perceptual conditions.
And it really left a mark. With sculptural aluminium totems, LED-based audiovisual content and Ernst Markus Stein’s poetic “weather machine”, “Extreme Environments” took over the space with an immersive energy that pulled visitors in and had them fully locked in.
Bold, experimental and tuned into the present: this is NABA’s design approach in action!
🎬 Relive “Extreme Environments”

For the fourth year running, NABA x Yakult Italia are back with BacteriArt — a project where art and science come together and turn complex research into visual works. 🧠🎨
With “BacteriArt4, from invisible to visible”, students from the BA in Painting and Visual Arts and the MA in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies took on a real challenge: making visible the dialogue between gut and brain, translating microbiology into artworks.
This edition was all about the gut-brain axis, with students turning the way our body processes and stores memory, emotion and information into a series of bold projects developed throughout the year.
On 15 April, it all came together at BacteriArt Day at NABA Milan, with an exhibition of the students’ works and the announcement of the three winning projects 🏆:
- “BACTESS” by Ava Scout Mortimer Banfield
- “DIALOGHI” by Aurora Capuano
- “TIMBRO” by Rebeka Xhaxha

Milano Design Week 2026 was the stage. NABA x Archiproducts Milano made it unforgettable.
From 20 to 26 April, Fòco. Living Notes by Studiopepe lit up Via Tortona 31. Designed by Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto, the project closed the quadrilogy of the elements with one powerful theme: Fire.
Students from the MA in Creative Media Production (Gaia Cattaneo, Mirko Ditroia, Anna Fratucello, Jiutong Guo, Claudia Santillan, Elisabetta Vitale), guided by a Michele Aquila and Filippo Marta, transformed the concept into a full immersive experience of video, sound and shifting perception. Think retinal persistence, double exposure, image distortion — and interactive performances that brought the space to life.
The result? A sensory journey you don’t just watch — you step inside.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
