MELT ICE🔥🧊 I made this design to share and circulate within Philly’s community. In times like these we need to speak up and support eachother when the health and safety of our communities are being threatened daily.

I don’t have the funds to donate a substantial amount myself but felt that this would be a better way to help contribute. Selling these for $3 (+shipping) with all proceeds being donated to the Juntos for Humanity campaign. As always, hit the link in my bio to grab one!

These two prints have been sitting in my flat file with EVERY layer printed except the outline for the past 4 years! I kept telling myself that I’d make sure that I’d finish them one day.

Since I didn’t have access to a print studio at the time I tried alternative printing methods I could do at home. So for the flower print I cut my own stencils instead of burning a screen. This…is an amazing way to test your patience eheh. It took me a very long time to hand register each layer the best I could but it would never be perfect of course.

The “Midnight Watch” print was made during my first and last serigraphy class with @hester_prints at Tyler, where I really fell for printmaking 🙂‍↕️❤️ This was made using screen filler/drawing fluid, this works kinda like a reduction print but for screenprinting.

Being a fob holder at @secondstatepress this spring I hand drew my transparencies for the outlined layers and officially finished these prints. It feels strange seeing how much my work has changed but also stayed the same over the years. Feeling very grateful for the lessons and opportunities I have been given, much love y’all ❤️
