Been two months since my last post in the series, so I thought I owe some explanation.

No I didn’t outright quit. I had to travel to Asia in October and then I got a slight health scare that needed to be addressed. Nothing serious, just a precautionary measure. But I been back in full-on training mode now for a little over a month…but I gotta say, shedding vacation rust/weight off ain’t easy 🥲

But as we finally approach the last few weeks of 2024…it’s time to set new goals to embrace 2025, and then execute plans to smash those goals 💪

🎥📹Footy is from a recent video shoot spearheaded by @stylinoutnetwork ‘s very own @mrbochii and @seoulvsoul. They got some amazing ideas for a video and I seriously cannot wait for the final product ( I got a sneak peak..andhonestly blown away, and I ain’t easy to please 😂）

A bit late in the post, was honestly debating if I should post one at all because I spent most of the month training my ground power foundation … it’s 90% drilling and figuring things out. And I have only just begun playing with this aspect of the dance.

But through trial and error and learning about how my body handles this type of move…. I created (I think I did, if someone else doing this, let me know), a mill variation that is my own. For the lack of better term, people at practice are calling it the “joemill” 😂 I guess for now, it will do.

The month of July has been somewhat of an adjustment. Feeling like hitting a creative wall, so I went back to drill some basics, revisit some old moves/combos, and realized some of which I could no longer execute to my expectations.

So spent a lot of time drilling, reassemble old concepts, and finding my old/new flow again.
