Some shots on Lomo Metropolis 110 film, taken mainly around Brunswick. 24 exposures is a nice change of pace from instants, although having to get them developed is definitely less nice lol. Pros and cons I suppose. Just uploading my favourites of the bunch since the camera I used is a little difficult to work with… not that I’m too surprised. It’s only about the size of a sugar cube after all… 🧊

Day 2 cont.

Final destination before driving home was Luna Park off from the ferry.

Original photo (pic 3) you can barely make anything out, but I was able to get something to show by boosting the contrast by about a billion percent and desaturating it. Kinda looks like it was driven through the mud as a result (we’ll call it lo-fi), but it is kinda cool to me how much detail remains considering where it started.

Pic 2 was after contrasting it, but before discarding the “colour”.

Also played around with recolouring it with some more pleasant colours, and I do think the sort of sepia-tone and night-time blue tints look a little better than the B&W and… Neptune green…

Day 2 from Sydney.

After some scouting on google maps the night before, got up early in the morning and walked to the pump track not too far from where we were staying. Managed to find an e-bike, and gave it a go. Lots of fun you’re probably not that supposed to have on the e-bikes lol. Then after I got back, we had breakfast, and drove into circular quay, where you’ll often find those big cruise liners, and parked in the spot I’d booked. From there we walked up to the art gallery for a quick (free) look, and after that we checked out the big cathedral. After that, we walked back the way we came, snapped a quick picture ofgovernment house through the fence, and got onto the ferry, from where I took a pic of the opera house.

The second picture was using the camera from the previous night (with the “wrong” film), and you can see how washed out it is in the day by comparison.

The photos of the cathedral came out a bit oddly coloured too, so I may tack them onto the end of another post in black and white. Not really sure what happened with them but I was using expired film again so who knows lol.

A couple shots from September in Sydney, after seeing the peerless @kieranrdaughton perform his Fittness Passport with @claytonmcdo1 and @noah_c___

After dropping some stuff up to our room, We took the train into Circular Quay, and walked around the square by the Opera House. I decided to try out a few Polaroids to see what I could get, since I was intentionally using the wrong film for my camera, which meant they would be probably be overexposed in the day. Mixed results, but overall I think they at least came out interesting. See if you can use your imagination to make out the harbour bridge in picture 3.

A few more photos that I decided to mess around with a bit since I thought they came out a little plain. Each of the photo days from the previous posts are represented here, though not in chronological order. Case in point, the last photo was taken by @claytonmcdo1 on the first day with the cameras, and then fiddled with by me. I’ve included how it looked before my meddling as well for comparison. The other photos were my own.

And that’s it for the moment. I’ve posted everything I’ve taken so far that I wanted to share. And while I have restocked with a a few packs of Polaroids already, I don’t have any immediate plans to use them all up. When I do though, I’ll make sure to put them here in my little corner of insta. Cheers.

Probably my favourite photo I took Anzac Day — one of St Paul’s Catherdral. You can see @declann_shields sticking out in the corner as well.

Plus another one I took after I got home, to finish off the pack. I think it turned out pretty nicely as well, all things considered.

Nice one of me by @claytonmcdo1 also from Anzac Day, around the side in Hosier Lane. Plus one of him that I took in front of the station as well.

Went into the city on Anzac Day with the guys to snap some more instants. Got a couple nice ones on the day that I was pretty happy with, starting with these two of the Shrine of Remembrance. I think this time the haziness of the expired film actually kinda worked in my favour - just adding a little mystical sort of feeling.

Wanted to see if the Instax would fare any better than the Polaroids under low light, so me and @claytonmcdo1 went around the hood and took some photos at night. I think really what we found is that you need some amount of background or something to reflect the flash off of to get much of anything to show. Lots of photos that turned out as blanks here. But we did get a couple alright ones, and more than anything learnt a little doing so.

Most of the Instax I’ve left for him to post, as they were mainly taken by him, but I’ve snatched a few of the ones taken by me over our photo hangs.

Next up, some more expired (black and white) Polaroids. Tried getting some low light photos at the Ill Times show here in Melbourne. I was hoping for at least one recognisable photo of the band, but didn’t turn out much besides some kinda cool light trails and such. That was about what I had expected though, so ah well. Fun putting the cameras through different conditions and seeing what would happen. And a great show too of course.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
