「直井真奈美さんのオーバルプレート」
オクトゴナルのオーバルプレートはクリニャンクールのブロカントのような、肌に馴染む着込んだYAECAの白シャツのような、、。
そして白釉はこっくりとしていながらも、厚くなり過ぎないよう、少し素地が見えるかどうかのギリギリのラインで微調整されている。この微差が直井さんのセンスであり、大差を生んでいるのだろうなぁ〜、きっと。

「長野大輔さんの銅鑼鉢」
木灰釉の溜まりがモネのブルーに見えてくる。
桜の花筏のような意匠もアクセントに。
薪窯焼成の荒々しくワイルドなテクスチャ。見込み全体に広がる湖水、その上に浮かぶ桜の花筏のマチエール。そのコントラストが何とも味わい深く、見入ってしまいます。

「三浦ナオコさんのマグカップ」
掛け分けのマグカップは、僕の中ではモダンキュノワール。
深い艶黒に、一見すると不完全にも見える縁の仕上げが、バランスよく溶け込み、味わい深さをプラスしてるなぁと。
このシリーズが好きで色々と使わせてもらっているのですが、「温故知新+不易流行」的なモノづくりを感じています。
