Pinning this as it seems that a constant reminder is needed.

Please don't DM. All enquiries of any kind should go to issues@openpowerlifting.org. You will receive a bounceback email with a ticket number. If you do not receive this, then we haven't got your enquiry.

If you can't get an email through (our email is a bit over the top with its spam filter), click on Contact Us on our website. This will direct you to gitlab where you can raise an issue directly.

You will have to set up an account on gitlab but it's free and guaranteed to get through.

Emailing means that you go straight into the queue and all of our team can see and act on your request.

DMing here means that your enquiry will likely be forgotten.

Thank you for your understanding.

As the sport grows, so does the workload.  With entries for over 700,000 lifters and more than 42,000 meet results added, WE NEED HELP.  We have a backlog of requests that gets bigger every day and we really need to grow the team.

First and foremost, we need people that can interact with git and, realistically, have some spare time to spend on the project.   Ideally, we would like someone from every federation to be the maintainer for that fed.  Being a maintainer means adding meet results and handling data corrections via git.

If we are generally slow to add your federation’s results, then we probably don’t have a maintainer for that fed.  You do not have to be an official of the federation to be the OPL maintainer for it.

We could also do with people to handle incoming tickets requesting adding instagram, date of birth, name correction or other minor update.  Again, some knowledge of git is required for this.

The project is entirely staffed by volunteers and is funded by the powerlifting community – never advertising.   If you have some time to offer, you would be doing a great service to the preservation of powerlifting history.
Email issues@openpowerlifting.org and let us know what fed or area you can help with.

We've been working in hard in March and here are the results.

Fewer meets added this month and we have a corresponding growth in our backlog. The workload expands constantly but it's the same handful of people slogging away at the inbox.

If your federation's meets don't go up quickly then it's likely that there is no dedicated maintainer for your fed. Maybe it could be you?

No DMs please, all comms should go to issues@openpowerlifting.org. If you don't receive a bounceback email with an issue number, then we haven't received it. Try again or use the Contact Us link on the website.

At Sheffield 2025, Sonita Muluh squatted an incredible 313kg (690lbs) raw in knee sleeves.

This is the biggest squat we have ever recorded on the women's side in knee sleeves and is only 7kg off the biggest women's squat in knee wraps.

Huge congrats from the team at OpenPowerlifting.

MONTHLY UPDATE

In January 2025, we added

1,564 meets
17,074 lifters

That's 113,625 individual entries added to the database.

We are seeing more federations working with us to learn how to upload their own results. This is the way. Our workload is impossible but if every federation uploaded their own meets, then we would be home dry.

If you spot an error, email us at issues@openpowerlifting.org. You will receive a bounceback email with an issue number. If you do not receive this, then we didn't receive your email. If you can't get an email through to us, use the Contact Us link on the website.

We want the data to be accurate and we rely on the powerlifting community to help us with this.

Wishing you all a strong February

Congratulations to Brittany Schlater who hit a 273.5kg deadlift at Sheffield last weekend. That's the ATWR deadlift for a raw tested athlete.

This is actually her second time hitting that number but now it stands as the IPF world record too.

Huge congrats from the OpenPowerlifting team.

Congratulations to Agata Sitko who hit 643.38 dots at Sheffield this weekend. That's the highest dots for a raw tested athlete that we have ever recorded. She did it in knee sleeves but it's also higher than any tested athlete has achieved in knee wraps.

She also has the tested 75kg ATWR in bench (160kg), deadlift (262kg) and total (628kg).

Huge congrats from the OpenPowerlifting team.

Video reposted from @sbdsheffield

Agata Sitko is your Sheffield 2025 champion.

We’re a little bit late to the party but congratulations to Lorenzo Jordan who set a new all time world record in squat on 14th December 2024.  He squatted a massive 300kg in knee sleeves in the 67.5kg class, surpassing Kristos Papanotis’ previous record of 290kg which was set all the way back in 2015 in knee wraps.

He is also the lightest man to ever squat 300kg in sleeves OR wraps.

Huge congratulations from the team at OpenPowerlifting.

We will no longer be accepting issues and requests over social media. It's just too much admin for a small team to keep on top of. But we still want to hear from you! If you have any questions, corrections or additions, email issues@openpowerlifting.org.

If we have received your email, you will get an automatic reply with an issue number. If you don't get this, then we probably haven't received it so try again! And then, have patience please! It might take us a little while to get to you, but we WILL get there in the end.

If you have sent messages to any of the social media accounts and not had a response, we're really sorry. Drop us an email and let us know what's up.

Athlete Spotlight:
Dina Hakeai(@dina_hakeai )with a ludicrous 650kg total in sleeves at her first meet with lifts of 225/155/270.

This total is the 6th largest total ever put up by a women in sleeves.

Her 270 second attempt deadlift gives her the tested All Time Record for women,

Additionally her 250 third attempt squat on which she jumped the rack command would have matched the largest tested women's total.

We hope there's much more to come in Dina's powerlifting career!

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
