One take, one shot. LIVE Calibration, on our 5th Liberica Series for this beans from Vietnam 🇻🇳 roasted by Saigon Coffee Roasters. Extraction collapsed at 30 seconds pre infusion, 120 seconds of total extraction. 😩 Ground too fine. Could’ve complemented the fine ground with dose less than 18 grams or just adjusted the grinder to a bit more coarse direction. Final output 30 ml. Still smelled the aroma of jackfruit, heavy body and medium crema, tropical fruit sweetness but burnt coffee 🤦. #espressophilelab #espressophile #orakafenorthsiargao #hifi #livecalibration

One shot, one take. Buon’s Coffee from Vietnam is our third set of beans for the Liberica Series LIVE Calibration. 18 in, 40 out, 17 seconds including pre infusion. The extraction crashed, collapsed because beans weren’t ground fine enough 🤦. Could’ve made it 20 g to complement the weakness or ground more fine. Oh well, but crema was still around, gave same jackfruit aroma, sarsi sweet, tea-like body, lingering sweetness.
