We had several philosophical discussions about mixing, and that’s what changes our mindset. He has a focus on the emotion that the music wants to convey and is able to translate that with his technique. It was amazing!

We had a very cool surprise when we got to meet the legend @joao.barone_oficial, who brought us the original session of a very iconic song from one of the biggest Brazilian Bands (Paralamas do Sucesso) for Michael Brauer to mix the song from scratch in front of us and watch him pull the sound out of a hit from the 80s that everyone knows.

I also had the opportunity to reconnect with dear friends and make new ones with a bunch of top-level professionals.

I want to thank @audiosinfronteras and @mosca_ricardo for the opportunity.

On top of all that, I got to reconnect with dear friends, make new ones, exchange a lot of knowledge, and have many laughs late into the night in the hotel lobby. 🇺🇸 During the last 3 days, I had the pleasure of sharing intense studio hours with the master of mixes @tonymaseratiofficial. Watching him work right in front of you and hearing the reasoning behind each decision is a unique experience. Having the opportunity to exchange ideas with him and receive feedback on my mixes really opens your mind in an incredible way! On top of all that, I got to reconnect with dear friends, make new ones, exchange a lot of knowledge, and have many laughs late into the night in the hotel lobby. Not to mention the incredible vibe at @sonasterio. What an amazing place! It’s like Tony Stark’s house turned into a studio!!

Ver ele fazendo as coisas na sua frente e explicando o raciocino dele por trás de cada decisão é uma experiência única.Ter a oportunidade de trocar uma ideia com ele e ouvir feedback das minhas mixagens faz você abrir a cabeça de uma maneira absurda!Além disso tudo, tive a oportunidade de rever queridos amigos, fazer novos, trocar muita figurinha e dar muitas risadas até tarde no saguão do hotel. 🇧🇷 Muito feliz de ter ficado em 2o lugar com a melhor mix do concurso de mix do canal @canalreaperbrasil.A bronca aqui foi aprender a usar o reaper pra fazer a mix e usar só plugins nativos que eu não conheço o som. Demorou pra sair, mas saiu.Ficar perdido se saber fazer coisas simples é terrivel!Gostaria de agradecer ao Ticiano do @canalreaperbrasil pela oportunidade!Valeu!!

🇺🇸 Very happy to have placed 2nd in the mixing contest held by @canalreaperbrasil for best mix! The real challenge here was learning how to use Reaper for the mix and working only with stock plugins whose sound I wasn’t familiar with. It took a while to get there, but I made it happen. Feeling lost and not knowing how to do simple things is terrible!
