Watching snippets like this reminds me how much work, detail, trust and collaboration goes into creating vocals for an album.

So many people hear the final record, but don’t always see the layers behind it:
the stacking,
the blending,
the harmonies,
the vocal choices,
the studio energy,
the experimenting,
the tiny adjustments that suddenly make a moment feel magic.

This is what being a backing vocalist and recording vocalist can look like behind the scenes. Supporting the artist’s vision whilst also bringing your own musicianship, tone and emotion into the room.

Really grateful to have been part of sessions for Superbloom alongside such incredible singers and creatives.

Moments like this are a reminder of what ‘My Voice Your Voice’ is all about:
sharing knowledge,
sharing experience,
and sharing the reality of the vocal world from the inside out.

After such an overwhelming experience and beautiful feedback from my first show Upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s… I’m coming back.

Honestly, performing my own show there for the first time was a dream come true, so to be invited back again so soon means more than I can explain.

ITS BISCUITS 1st BIRTHDAY! 🐾🎂 I always loved cats, but I never really understood why.

Then I got Biscuit.

And somehow, in the middle of grief, loneliness and trying to rebuild myself… this tiny chaotic cat became part of my healing.

She brought life back into quiet rooms.
Comfort on difficult days.
And reminded me that love can exist in the smallest everyday moments.

She’s naughty, dramatic, expensive and completely exhausting sometimes 😂
But she’s also been one of the best things for my mental health.

Happy 1st birthday to my little @biscuitedwards 🤎🧡🤍🖤
