Poly Reps take on the Bay Area! 🌉☀️
Every quarter some Poly Reps visit high schools in our community and talk about Cal Poly and higher education. We bring our tour to you! Once a year we venture outside SLO County and visit schools further away. This past weekend 6 Poly Reps made their way north to San Francisco!
After presenting at schools, reps were able to take some time to explore the area, take a tour at Dandelion Chocolate Factory, and enjoyed a Giants baseball game!
We love this time each year to share our love for Cal Poly and spend some time with each other! 💚💛

How did Poly Reps spend their summer you ask?☀️
1. Mira: “I ate an apple this summer. 🍏 And I studied abroad in Barcelona! Afterwards I traveled from the Pyrenees to the Alps (where I ate that apple)! ⛰️ I saw such amazing places, met such beautiful people, and ate such delicious apples! 💘”
2. Arianna: “In true Arianna fashion I went to Disneyland with friends!!! Then I went to lots of fun concerts like Tate Mcrae! I went to tons of sounders games, and finally I went to Australia!”
3. Kryiacos: “Went to Vietnam! Super awesome and met some amazing people!”
4. Sage: “FSURP (Frost Summer Undergraduate Research Program) through Cal Poly!!”
5. Julie: “I got to spend some time with my older brother before he went back to San Diego for college! We went to the Cal Poly Night Giants game in San Francisco!”
6. Sarah: “This summer I interned and studied abroad in London, England! I was a youth programming and marketing intern for London Rangers FC. Living in London and learning more about various working cultures was incredible!”
7. Zach: “Explored more of San Diego, Seattle, Padres games, hosted swiss friends!!”
8. Sam: “This summer I interned with the Victim Witness Assistance Center at the San Luis Obispo District Attorneys Office. It was a wonderful experience getting to see the legal system up close!”
9. Kaylie: “Cousins trip to Disneyland and fam trip to DisneyWorld and Epic Universe!!”
10. Addie: “I studied abroad in Thailand! I was in Chiang Mai taking classes and was able to travel all over the country. Some highlights included snorkeling in Koh Samui, visiting elephant sanctuaries, and taking a weekend trip to Hanoi, Vietnam.”
11. Oscar: “Took an amazing trip to the east coast with family and saw the beach, a few whales, beautiful sunsets, Central Park, the Met, Village Vanguard jazz club, and more! West Coast Best Coast but it was pretty cool can’t lie.”
12. Kirsten: “I resided at the humble abode of SLO working at Murphy Structural Engineers as an Engineering Intern, worked in UH as a Housing Ambassador, took a few classes, and gave a couple tours in my free time! Also many fun times with friends and family 🦒”

1. Mira: “I ate an apple this summer. 🍏 And I studied abroad in Barcelona! Afterwards I traveled from the Pyrenees to the Alps (where I ate that apple)! ⛰️ I saw such amazing places, met such beautiful people, and ate such delicious apples! 💘”
2. Arianna: “In true Arianna fashion I went to Disneyland with friends!!! Then I went to lots of fun concerts like Tate Mcrae! I went to tons of sounders games, and finally I went to Australia!”
3. Kryiacos: “Went to Vietnam! Super awesome and met some amazing people!”
4. Sage: “FSURP (Frost Summer Undergraduate Research Program) through Cal Poly!!”
5. Julie: “I got to spend some time with my older brother before he went back to San Diego for college! We went to the Cal Poly Night Giants game in San Francisco!”
