We recently joined @sierradesigns_kor on a trip to the mountains of Northern Europe to shoot their outerwear in the environments that originally inspired the designs decades ago.

The brand’s legendary 60/40 Mountain Parka dates back to the 1970s outdoor boom in America, when practical outerwear became essential for hiking and climbing. Built from a namesake 60/40 cotton-nylon blend, it was designed to be tough, weather-resistant, and functional in real mountain conditions.

In the mountains, we found that the Mountain Parka, alongside a handful of other Sierra Designs heavyweights, continue to comfortably stand up to the trials and tribulations of the modern outdoor adventure.
