How do you feel?
I feel like I want to rip my heart and give it to you. Im scared you are going to hold it in your hand and crush it. Im scared you’re going to see that as a weakness in me to take advantage of it. I don’t know the logical reason why I’m so drawn to you, but with all the chaos, I feel at peace knowing we have each other in our lives.
I just want to know where you stand with how you feel. How do we see each other In our lives right now? I can’t predict the future, I don’t know what will come next, but what I want to do is be present in the moment with you and see where that takes us.
When I hear a love song, or think of doing anything meaningful, I picture you by my side. As someone who has never been in a serious relationship, I question if that’s my own need to have reassurance and security. My own need to feel wanted and chosen. What I can say is that I’m choosing you, for the good and for the bad, I want to explore this connection.
I want to always be honest with you, express my emotion and feel safe to do so. I want trust and loyalty as we grow together. I want to continue to laugh, cry and be scared together. Even though things get hard, we can hear out the others point of view.
What I want from this is to continue developing our relationship with friendship and intimacy, taking it day by day, moment by moment, being present and showing up for each other until we can anymore.

This collection of work speaks to the disturbance of a heteronormative life path, by reimagining the traditional linear use of “9-5” office garments.
Graduating from fashion design, the expectations to land a steady corporate job was evident. This caused suppression of the creative flow and loss of identity. Untraditional lifestyles rejected.
The tie, a silken symbol of white collar success, is queerified. Taken as representation of the corporate world and disturbing its purpose, shifts its use to match the current needs of our own reality. Using beading techniques, the tie is taken out of its original context and transformed into a talisman ready to take on the wearers new intentions.

1) Ocean
Flowing with the water, allowing self to flow with the ever changing tides of life. Connecting the heart chakra with the throat, one is not only able to align with their hearts desire, but communicate it outwardly to the world. Feeling in the 4th dimension, shifting and communicating into the 3rd.
Materials: Glass beads, Blue lace agate
2) Mud
Grounded yet room to be messy and grow. Planting roots and connecting to the gut energy source. Root chakra is present, creating a up-down channel
of grounding energy throughout the body.
