It is with immense sadness that I announce the death of my beloved father, Bob Stange. He passed peacefully in his home on Monday May 22nd at 84 years old. A life so wonderfully lived deserves to be wonderfully remembered. Please know that when we are able, we will be sharing his memories, his achievements, and the magnitude of influence that he has had on this industry. My father loved this way of life that we choose in the racing community. The racing, the industry, the innovation, and most of all the people who make it all come alive. Pops did not want a fuss over him and was adamant about not having a funeral or any type of formal services. He did not want people to gather in sorrow over him. However, when we asked about a celebration of life event and I explained to him that it would be more of a party, he seemed to like that idea. We do not have any plans as of yet for this as we are still grieving as a family; but know that we will provide all details once we have decided on the best time and place. We ask for privacy for our family at this time, but I want to thank everyone for their calls and heartfelt messages. Each memory you have shared has been treasured. Once we have his official obituary completed we will share that as well. -Jeff S.
